so basically the theme/topic has to be forbidden love.
at the moment, we only have to write a story outline.
i wanted to do something a bit different, so i came up with a man falls in love with a woman who turns out to be a man in drag or a transsexual or a stripper.
which idea do you guys think is best?
or if you can think of anything better, i'm definitely open to suggestions.

a guy in drag is probably not that unrecognizable, since drag is a whole different deal from actually trying to be a woman (though it's more complicated and then again actually might work, but blah. *shuts up*), a stripper isn't really that forbidden (lulz, I know a stripper on another board, and her boyfriend, who she found through the board).
Also, if you do any of those and want help just on general details about what it's like, I've talked to a bunch of MTF transsexuals and know a fair amount about that kind of thing, and could probably help with drag queens as well. maybe strippers too. x]

i was thinking transsexual was probably the best one, too.
the problem with the man in drag thing is that a guy would have to play him. and it's unlikely i'll even end up with a guy in my group (there's only about 4 in the class) and even less likely that any of them would want to dress up as the woman.
i wasn't sure about making her a stripper, because it's more common and not really a taboo these days. but i thought maybe his family would disagree with it.
and then i was thinking maybe she could be a prostitute, but that might be taking it too far.
anyway, thank you very much for answering. and for offering to help further.
