I'm more into prose that poetry, to be honest, but sometimes I do try to scribble something down.

Best to start as we hope to continue:

Days all disappear here
Without your arms embracing me
Without the comfort of your art
Blurring together
My wings won't unfold

The petty pace of day to day
Seems unreal, the senses dulled
Filling my head with noise to fill the void
Reaching out
Our fingers touch, feather light

The days were getting shorter
Night staved off with your soft luminescence
An ozone of alone, but a beacon of hope just outside
Distance is nothing
We are all.

Okay, right after saying updates will be sporadice, I have two in under an hour. Both of these are old by the way, I never write this fast.

Spitfire
Nobody knows when the sands will stop flowing
When the sound of wings will come
And we’ll leave the land of dreaming forever
And enter Death’s domain.
You left without me.
Like I’d lost part of my foundation,
I cried till I drowned my world,
And saw you reflected back at me
In my words, my beliefs, my actions.
The wings came, but some of you stayed.
In my dreams and in my life, and always in the sky.
