7. No. Abortions will happen whether or not they are legal. By legalizing the procedure, we can set up rules that make the procedure safer for the mother. That's not condoning abortion, it's acknowledging that it exists, which we must.
8. Absolutely. I feel extremely strong about this, and there's no logical basis to oppose same-sex marriage in this country. MARRIAGE IS A CIVIL INSTITUTION IN AMERICA, NOT A RELIGIOUS ONE.

I agree. You're not going to find many conservative republicans here or any site that primarily caters to young people heavily into rock music. I'm not complaining, because personally, I'm not fond of republicans and conservatives, but it doesn't make for a broad spectrum of opinions. |

I would say that the two act upon each other. If we weren't more liberal than previous generations, a band like MCR would gross us out with the Ferardness and all.
If we were trending conservative, they would still be popular but not one of the top groups if not the top group.

Nope. But it also depends on the situation. I think its really hard to pinpoint a definite law for or against abortion, but at the end of the say i'm stll for female empowerment, and i'm still for choice. i dont believe in bringing a kid into the world and then being irresponsible about it - and im talking about the father as well. If abortion is illegal, then for god's sake enforce paternity laws. Make the father or sire responsible as well as the mother.
