No Franz Ferdinand thread? That's criminal. I honestly can't believe it.
I'm sorry if I missed it when I searched.
I swear I tried my hardest to find a thread here.

Their website.
Their nifty Myspace.

They formed in 2002.

I was just gonna come into the thread to whine about how my mom won't take me to see them because she's afraid of a mosh pit.
I hate mosh pits, too, but I don't think it'd be that bad. Maybe she's right.

I love Franz. I'm just warming up to their new album. And I'm reading Alex Kapranos' book. It's a nice book.

I love Franz Ferdinand! I have have liked them since they first came out in the U.S. with "Take Me Out".
I own all of their albums. They seem like such cool guys.

Ohh, ohh, ohh. I love them!

Man, that's no excuse not to go to the show. I wouldn't miss it.

He has a book? What's it about?

It's called Sound Bites. It's about the food he's eaten touring with the band around the world. He says "Food is an adventure" and the way he desribes it, it really is.
Most of it was published in a column he wrote for a newspaper for while. It's really fun.

Both my parents are against going to the show. My mom says it's nothing against the band, it's just a bad venue in a bad neighborhood.
We had a bad experience in a mosh pit before.
It was for an MCR show. She lost her jacket and I got a little kicked around the face.
For some reason, she thinks the crowd for Franz Ferdinand will be "tougher". They always call themselves a pop band. |:

Well, that might be a little trouble. I don't get why parents go with their kinds to gigs...
I mean, i go there to have fun, made a mosh pit on my own. xD
Parents just pick me up after the show.

I hope you figure it out, i'd love to see them live.

I love Franz Ferdinand's new album. Didn't care much for their last album.

I find that sometimes indie gigs are harsher than most other bands gigs, I got really hurt when I went to see Bloc Party and come to think of it Hellogoodbye was pretty rough.
You wouldn't think people would go totally crazy for music like that. I don't see why people make pits at gigs like this. You only hurt people and then it puts parents off letting other kids go.
