I play drums in my band, and I wrote a song yesterday. Tell me what you think:
I'm still alive,
But my dreams are dead.
Selling your soul,
To get in my head.
You made it black,
When my sky was blue.
The torture inside,
If only you knew.
How can I show you,
That my time is now.
I never could live,
Yeah I never knew how.
If living a lie,
Isn't what I deserve.
Then I cannot wait,

I saw a jewel,
That I couldn't reach.

And now I'm pushed to the brink.

Threw me in the mud.

To wipe up the blood.

Posts: 20 | November 16th, 2010 at 05:43am I've got some new lyrics. The first stanza is definitely a verse, while the second is either going to be the chorus or the second verse (I haven't decided yet). Obviously, this song isn't fully done, but I'd just like to see what you think.
The sun it will set,
But the story's the same.
This dream never ends,
Yet there's no one to blame.
I'm all that I have,
I'm all that I will,
There's still no cure,
I'm standing still.
But where can I go,
When I'm stuck in my head,
And how can I live,
If I'm feeling so dead.
Drowning in cheap rum,
