I hope to soon see your face. Just know you’re in a better place. I still remember that dreadful call, And the sound of your mother about to bawl. I did not believe what I just heard. I didn’t cry until I knew for sure. A few days later I saw your photo in the paper and that’s when I realized it was true. You knew your fate, but I forgive you. You looked so peaceful lying there, Then I remember all the good times we shared. All the moments I shared with you, I can never renew. Nobody can hurt you anymore. You now have entered God’s door. Please be safe in your journey to the afterlife. I still wish I could have told you goodbye.
