Mr. Pathetic

Well hello there Mr. Pathetic
You're such a wonderfull hysteric
make me laugh and crack a smile
I promise i'm not worth your while

Oh praise ye' master of delusion
keeper of brilliant confusion
laugh at my bloodstained dress
Who am i? well take a guess

You've made up a bed
Of bullets and a holey head
Bright red staining splatter
Gross buckets of brain matter

Your work here is done you say
As you tip your hat for the day
you leave me lying here alone
My body dead full of shattered bone

My forced hand written note she found
Discarded, it lays tearstained on the ground
She's angry now, she's screaming at me
But it's not my fault, it's his you see?

I Pray

I pray each night
For a dreamless sleep
To wake one morning
To birds not screams

I pray each night
To die before i wake
I drink back my fallen tears
In hope i don't see another day

Bust most of all
I pray each night
That there's no one to listen
So i don't have to suffer an afterlife

Loved this part of the poem, a different twist to a nightmarish awakening.
