Then you've come to the right place! Post the rumors you've heard in here and everyone can discuss their reasonings for disbelieving or believing the rumor.


5 Simple Rules:

1. Do not post personal information about the band members.
IF YOU POST A BAND MEMBER'S PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, EMAIL, OR ANYTHING ELSE OF THE LIKE, YOU WILL BE BANNED. No if's, and's, or but's.

2. Please try not to post the same rumor twice, the same thing posted over and over makes people angry.

3. Do NOT rant at someone for posting a rumor (unless posted multiple times, in that case try to rant nicely ;D). We've all done it, myself included, let's be friends this time around.

4. Rumors are innocent until proven guilty.

5. We will waste no time in locking this again if flaming, extreme fighting, or anything else the staff warns against is persistent. It won't be tolerated this time around. This is NOT PLOTB, discussions of the like aren't to be started in here.

To start off:

1.) I've seen on MCR's Facebook someone saying the new CD release date is May 3rd in the UK, according to a HMV pamphlet or something.

2.) Bob is out of the band.

3.) In the Gerard's voice thread we've had a user claim that Gerard is an asshole, Frank is having twins, and Bob is indeed out of the band and that's why the Australian shows were canceled.

Let the discussions begin!

I'm kinda anxious with all of these rumors popping up and then none of the band tweeting lately, like we've been left in the dust or something. They're probably really busy though, I'm guessing.

I'd feel terrible for everyone if Bob is really out of the band. Lets hope its all an elaborate scheme started by the guys that some how coralates to he new album.

As far as I'm aware, there's been no mention at all of Bob leaving the band apart from that one post by fiyahfiyah, and when you look at their past posts....

Hmm, remember when Gerard was called an asshole, Mikey left the band to join college and didn't sign his contract again, and someone else probably had a limb growing in an inappropriate spot? That was all claimed by some psycho on Blogspot who was "an insider". The very fact that a professional radio show knew to post HERE of all places that Bob was leaving (as well as their shoddy site) screams of crap to me.

And fiyahfiyah is just one in a million of crazies, I'm afraid. Pay them no heed until there's proof

Hello Friends,

Recently it seems as though every time we write to you guys we have bad news, and we apologize for that, but we've learned in life you can't have the sweet without the sour. As a band we have been very fortunate over the years that our sweet times have greatly outweighed the sour ones, and a great deal of that is owed to you, the fans. Which is why we wanted this news to come from us and not some bullshit gossip site.

As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same.

We also wanted to give you all a quick heads up on how the record is progressing. We have been writing some very powerful new songs so this week the four of us entered the studio once again, and what has been ending up on tape each night is some of the most exciting and honest work we have ever created.

We hope this letter finds you well, we miss you...

Yeah it hasn't really hit me yet, but I had a painful feeling in my gut as I was reading it.

Does anybody think Gerards voice was just a cover? I'm so scared for my chem! I still need them. Part of me feels they're lying about recording new songs and it's just another covet up. I just don't know. I'm so scared. I hope they keep us updated on what's going on. They've been a band for almost a decade. It's almost natural for a band to lose members and gain new ones. Look at black sabbath. And the misfits.

I agree with the post above me, as sad as I am about Bob leaving, it's only natural for band members to change over the years. But I will miss Bob so so much.

As for the other rumours, if there were some shit going on with the band, why wouldn't they just tell us? I don't think they would mess us around, they've told us they're still fine and working on the album, I believe that.

Is it too much to ask that the fans that got you to where you are deserve an explanation?

There is now talk of Bob's wrist being the problem?

They don't owe us anything, and they certainly do not have to explain everything the moment it happens, imo. It would be nice to get some sort of explaination as to what's going on but not exactly a neccessity, and it's not been long - give the guys a chance to get things together!

A month isn't neccessarily a long time when you're very busy, as I'd imagine they are right now. It can just fly by, especially when something needs to be done.

So I heard the reason Bob left was because a bunch of the new songs they were doing had a ton of crash cymbals in them, and apparently Bob hates crash cymbals or they're difficult for him or something, so that's how the argument started. There's no proof or anything, just some speculation that's been going around....

Personally I think that's really ridiculous, so I don't beleive it. . .
