What the fuck are you thinking? We are losing our accredidation. What means the students who arent graduating this year, will not have a counting diploma. Their diplomas will count to the equality of a walnut shell. They have worked so hard to get where they are, they need those diplomas to get into colleges. No college will accept them because schools without accredidation are fucking useless. Im outraged that you as a school board have reluctantly sat on your asses and done nothing. We almost lost accredidation last year, luckily we kept it. For whatever reason. Im lucky because my diploma means something. Theirs wont. You as a school system failed to do the proper things so we could gain accredidation. SACS even told you specifically what you needed to do. Why on earth wouldnt you do this? B____ County Public Schools have failed to do the required things in order for the younger class to graduate properly. I mean, why not just let them drop out? Its the same equivilent. My younger class friends did not work their asses off for years just to have it not mean anything. They deserve to graduate with a valid diploma. You are in for a rude awakining, school system. If we had our old superintendent back, none of this would be happening. He would make damn sure that we wouldnt lose anything as valuable as accredidation. This school system, no, this county, is a fucking disappointment. Thank God my diploma has credit, but i feel such a sadness for every other class. I cannot fucking believe you have such a lack of passion for the students that you'd let their future slip by. You say you care, but we dont see it. And im sure the teachers arent happy with this either. The classes they teach wont mean anything either. Although, i see going to the school board meeting pointless because you wont listen to us. I believe I have as much a say in this because my friends will have a bright future. I will not let your apathetic attitudes ruin everything they work for. Open yalls fucking eyes and realize that they need this. All our lives, you've told us to work hard to we can graduate and get to college so we can get a good job. Well, there's no point now. Not if the diploma means jack shit. Yes, you can expect peaceful protests and letters upon letters. You can expect that parents will bitch and that people will be angry with you. I just dont see how you can sit idly by and let this happen...
