You're a great friend but I need to put him first.
I know I'm going against what everyone says, but I just need him to feel secure.
I understand his jealousy and paranoia because I can relate to it completely, and because of that, I can't just have it continue on this way and put him through the pain of not trusting you with me.
It would hurt me so much if he were to do that to me, so I just can't let him feel that way because of me.
So, let's just keep it casual, okay?
He said he'll be okay with casual talking... hopefully this means sitting together in Psychology will be acceptable this year.
But as for the suggestive jokes, one-on-one outings, and in-depth conversations... please don't hate me (or think I hate you) if they can't happen anymore.

I think you are my only female friend who would actually stand by me through anything.
We don't even talk all that often, but we kind of have this unconditional support and acceptance of each other... and that's something which isn't even true of my supposed female "best friend".

I'm really scared.
I feel like I took the right actions to make the chance of this happening quite small, but the possibility is still there.
I guess we'll just have to wait it out.
But honestly, I'm terrified you won't be there for me in whatever way I'll need you to be.
I hope this is just paranoia, because if this turns out to be true, I'll need you no matter what the decision is.
