Why does the Corn Exchange sound poor?
I have only been there once before and it's not the best venue but it is better than the cavernous SECC and AECC they played the last 2 tours.

Only problem is travel to and from it, think it cost me £7 from the city centre and that was 2006 I think.
But apart from that it is a nice wee venue.

The Manchester one had a presale if you had an o2 contract phone but I think it sold out pretty quickly - I got an email today from the Warner Bros mailing list saying that if you buy your ticket through UKUnderCurrent you'd get a free t-shirt designed by Gerard (diff designs for each venue) which I thought was nifty!

It can be quite hard to get to if you dont know the area. Basically what I dont like about it is: That every gig ive been to there I havent enjoyed as much as other venues, In my opinion the sound quality is not as good as other venues, you cant seem to get as good a veiw of the stage. Also there is always less of an atmosphere at the corn exchange (not just a one off i have noticed it everytime ive been there.) The only reason I would go to the Corn Exchange is for the bands not the venue. I would prefer the secc or aecc their more suited to music whereas the corn is more for weddings, better sound quality in secc and aecc.

I'm going.
And holy hell, has it been a long time since I've been on here.
Aw, the good old days of INO...*nostalgia*.

My friend got me a ticket so we're flying over from Dublin to go.
Cannot wait.

Not so awesome about the glandular fever part, but, y'know, it'll be worth it.
