massively considering it!
i have no money whatsoever in the bank though until next friday.
if the cheap tickets are still going i may have to buy one and go catch them there.
only 2 songs...and i live in birmingham so its not exactly close...and im working the night before until 5am in the morning so gona be a tad on the tired side! but its all worth it.
and its on franks birthday! so its a tad epic.
quite a bit of money to pay to just see 2 songs aha..but even so.
Dude I'm just so excited that they're opening for the game that's epic!
I'm not going but I don't know why its just really exciting to me, hopefully they'll televise it over here in the US, I've heard before that sometimes the international NFL games don't get televised here. I hear CBS is supposed to be covering the game so I guess even if you don't have tickets you can probably watch it though, haha I'm so excited even though I'll just be watching it on TV.
They showed highlights of the game on bbc 1 tonight , they showed MCR playing in the background for about 2 seconds but they only mentioned that michelle williams and jeff beck had performed , i'm so pissed of , they could of at least mentioned them .
Awww poor gerard , he is such a dedicated frontman who always gives it his best even when his not feeling great and his throats giving in , he looked like he was shaking at one point , most likely from being freezing . Thankyou sooo much for this video , i loved the snare drums on WTTBP , the only thing i wasn't so keen on was the cheerleaders it seems they couldn't afford the rest of there outfits LOL , i'm only kidding i thought they did a great job
im pretty sure everything except gerards vocals and the drums are taken straight from the original recording in Na Na Na and WTTBP. All the guitars and back-up vocals are IDENTICAL to the original: no scratches, improvs, and rays guitar solo is even harmonized identically with no one else playing the harmonized part... and ray never plays a solo exactly the same. I wonder why? The weather?
Are you suggesting they used a backing track ? i can't imagine that , especially ray , the solo in manchester was exactly the same so was he faking playing then . I don't know , they just don't seem the kind of band that would use backing tracks .
i know thats what has me puzzled... but the evidence is everywhere. listen to the end of WTTBP and you can hear gerards voice and his voice from the recording ringing over it.
Just listened to it again , they may have had a very quiet backing track , but there must be some kind of noise coming from the guitars cause there plugged into the amps , and i'm pretty sure that when you touch a plugged in electric guitat noise comes out of it and also at the beginning of the video that screeching noise comes from the amps , something must of have been plugged in . On another subject i thought it was really sweet that lynz had posted on twitter the night before " i miss you" and then Gerard had it written on his neck as a message to her
Though in an interview recently they said how hard it was to play wembley cause the sound wasn't coming back at them and they couldn't hear themselves so they must have been some live music , it sounded to me like it was manic , they arrived , rehearsed but not for long and then the stage was rolled out onto the pitch and they said right there you go and they went straight on , G sounded to me as if he got in a bit of a flap , but then his never dealt with stress well .
