but I'm planning on changing my name for college (quite a number of people seem to have both my last and first name).

Technically yes but that's so for most pictures. You won't get done in for it. I just always leave it if the owner has specifically said that they don't want it used for anything or altered in any way. |

Not shallow, but I think you should keep your name personally haha.
Not only the fact that it's nice but it kind of seems odd to change it if you haven't got any sugguestions in mind.
