Don't believe what they say
We're dead flies in the summertime
They leave us all behind
With duct tape scars on my honey
They don't like who you are
You won't like where we'll go
Brother, protect me now
With blood they wash in the money

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

Right now I'm sick down from the bones to the other side
Red-Mob, we insects hide
King rat in the streets in another life
They laugh, we don't think it's funny

If what you are
Is just what you own
What have you become
When they take from you
Almost everything

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

Destroya (x6)
Against the sun we're the enemy
Destroya (x4)

You don't believe in God (I don't believe in God)
I don't believe in luck (I don't believe in luck)
They don't believe in us (I don't believe in you)
But I believe we're the enemy (I just believe in the enemy)

You don't believe in God (I don't believe in God)
I don't believe in luck (I don't believe in luck)
They don't believe in us (I don't believe in you)
But I believe we're the enemy (I just believe in the enemy)

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

You don't believe in God
I don't believe in luck
They don't believe in us
But I believe we're the enemy

Destroya (x6)
Against the sun, we're the enemy
Destroya, destroya, we're all waitin' for ya
Destroya, destroya
Against the sun we're the enemy

So show me what you got - you children of the gun
Don't hide and we don't run - against the sun, we're the enemy

Don't hide and we don't run
Against the sun, we're the enemy

i think this song is about believing in what you want, and no matter what others say or do, f*** them and just do what you want

I agree with you^^^^

I think they're basically saying people are going to hate you no matter what you believe in or how you portray yourself so just say FUCK YOU and do whatever you want.

If you don't believe in God, you have to believe in luck. If you don't believe in luck, you have to believe in God.

If your peers won't accept the one who believes in God NOR the one who believes in luck, there's just no winning with them either way.

Just be yourself and do whatever you feel.

I love your interpretations, I think these lyrics are quite straight-forward though (and I don‘t mean anything negative by that)

I think the first verse is about people who are different, who don‘t tend to conform and agree with the values that are put in front of them by the mass media and the society. And the ‘Brother, protect me now‘ line is like a start of a revolution, it gives the message that people who are ‘alternative‘ should come together and defend each other.
And the second verse, which is also a chorus I believe, is trying to say that even though we are different we should be able to defeat the enemy if we help each other and believe in each other.

If what you are
Is just what you own
What have you become
When they take from you
Almost everything

And this is probably my favourite verse from the whole song, I believe it‘s about materialism. Some rich people seem to think that they are worth more than anyone else but in reality their soul is poor and empty.

And that‘s basically it, I guess, everything repeats itself afterwards.....

Peace Bye

I agree with all of you about what it means. This song is so straight forward about what it means.Which i think it means to be whatever you what to be because people will always try to take what you own or simply they will try to make you feel less important in the world and this song is telling you this and that you've got to be strong enough to fight back to them but in this case they use the an awesome word to describe it all like DESTROYA!! Very Happy

Although, I do agree with all of what has been stated...Additionally, I believe it relates to a pro-active stance against discrimination. Specifically pertaining to Agnostics & Atheists/religious view points, but with the ability to be applied to anything that is considered "deviating from the norm". With specific emphasis on what may be deemed "subversive", by some. Twisted Evil

Also, there is a possible direct/implied link to beliefs in the political sense. For example, most people in the U.S. have false assumptions about what Socialism & Communism are. I believe this could be a statement on the concept of researching things properly prior to formulating an opinion. Mr. Green

I second you again. Gee is entitled to his opinion as we are ours, but he could have worded that in a far less confronting way.

I'm not saying he can't think what he wants. I just think that song could be worded an a slightly less confronting way.
