The video will include video clips, covers, fan art and possibly cosplay + sketches. In addition to this we will also attempt to collaborate on writing a song. You decide what you want to contribute with, but don’t just choose to submit a picture just because that’s the easiest - if you can make a video, please do. SEND ALL CONTENT TO MCRMYVIDEO@GMAIL.COM Note: In the email, please tell us what information you want us to include in the video. You can be anonymous if you like, but if you want credit, just tell us which ones of the following you want us to include: - nickname - first name - surname - age - location - twitter/tumblr What we are looking for: VIDEO (upload the video file to YouTube or a file sharing website and email us the link) - Film yourself talking about the band; how you discovered them, what they mean to you etc. If you have a story from a show, or from meeting one of the guys, or just an interesting conversation you had with someone about MCR - share it. Don’t worry about the video being too long, we’ll cut out the parts we can’t use. Put on My Chem merch if you have any, or even cosplay as one of the members if you want that. Be creative! Answer these questions on camera. However, don’t speak as if you’re answering a question, try to talk a bit about the subjects instead, as it will look better in the video. - In your opinion, what makes the MCRmy so special? - What is your favourite album/era and why? - Favourite song? Why? - Favourite lyrics? Why? - Do you have anything to say to the band, as kind of a ‘thank you for everything and good luck with future projects’ message? - And if you’re feeling especially creative, you can also make an MCR-related sketch. You decide everything you then want to include in it. MUSIC (again, upload the mp3 file to YouTube or a file sharing website and email us the link) - Do a cover of a My Chem song of your choice. It can be instrumental, or you can sing. You can either do it very similar to the original, or perhaps you want to create your own style. Again; it’s your choice. You also decide if you film it or just record an mp3. - Help us write a song to the band. This is probably the biggest challenge, but if we manage to pull it off, it would improve the documentary greatly.
