hi sweethearts
i just want to ask you all how you all encounted this band for the first time and 2. your first reaction ? and 3. are you dissapointed they have gone into the mainstream?

here is my anwsers
1.i saw the vid for "vampires will never..." on the net a year ago... i bought their album, then kerrang had a free cd with "you know what.." and the obsession started
2.my heart jumped! then i went out and bought the album with pure joy because i felt this band were me!
3.i was dissapointed at first but i cant begrudge em thier success but i do hate people jumping on the band wagon(eg green day) and making it harder for the old fans to get tickets... but thats not fair either!

2. whoa. This band knows what goes on in my head.
3. i hate posuer teenies, but i am happy mcr is getting succsessful. as long as they stay loyal to fans....

1.About 6 months ago My lovely friend came over and brought her older sisters CD's. So i found the most intresting CD..wich happened to be Bullets. Then i played it. I was in love with a CD..and that's a bit weird..

2. Well, i played the CD four times, what does that tell you? My obession with them grew when i heard TCFSR. I loved them!

3. Well..i'm not going to lie, i was a bit upset..only because this preppy bitch walked up to me and was like "Ya know that band MCR?! they kick ass!!" even though she only knew one song..but..overall..i guess it's okay..

1. I didn't find out about MCR until videos started to come out on MTV and crap. Then everyone started to talk about them. Finally I decided to buy the CD and give them a shot, and they hit the target.

2. I kinda thought that every song sounded the same, but as I listened to them more and more I started to know the lyrics and the guitar parts, bass parts, ect. It was like, "Whoa. This band is awesome! How could I have ver doubted them?!"

3. Eh, well. I guess I have to be glad that they got somewhere, because I probably never would've bought the CD if people hadn't started talking about them all the time. Nothing in my town gets here as fast as it does in other places so I was just kind of left behind until they did get big. It's kind of upsetting that all the preps and crap listen to them though. But, the only reason to make a band is to get big and have fun doing so... Guess My Chemical Romance did what they wanted.

Trust me I'm not a teenie. If I was I would seem a lot more stupid, don't you think?

1. The first time I saw MCR was their 2nd I'm Not Okay vid. I fell in love. The video cracked me up and the music was wicked. I listened to that song a bunch and got lured into buying the cd.

2. My first reaction was a huge grin. I had a good feeling about the band. After I bought the cd, I was a bit hesitant, as it had a parental advisory and I was just feeling my way around more mature music. Of course, now I'm in love with the cd.

3. I'm not upset with their mainstreaming, though it is annoying at times. If they hadn't mainstreamed, I would never had really found them. (Oddly enough, same for Green Day. So sue me, I'm still young) So... thanks MTV. -shivers-
