US rockers MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE have been declared the musical kings of 2005 in Spin magazine's annual Readers Poll.
The group claimed Band of The Year, Best Song (HELENA), Best Live Act and Best Breakout Band honours, while frontman GERARD WAY was voted Sex God of 2005 in the newly-released poll.
GWEN STEFANI is also a hit among readers of the revered rock magazine - she claimed the Best Solo Artist, Sex Goddess and Best Dressed prizes.
Other winners included ARCADE FIRE (Best New Artist), INTERPOL (Most Under-rated Artist) and NINE INCH NAILS (Best Comeback).
Conversely, FALL OUT BOY were declared Worst Band and Worst New Artist, while ASHLEE SIMPSON took Worst Solo Artist and Worst Live Act, and BRITNEY SPEARS was voted Worst Dressed. |
