I was in two MCR pits. I remember being in the second row from the front. Needing water. The sec chick gave me some and it went down my top. I caught Gerard glancing at me and then people pushed me down to the right side. <<;

i'm going to the Street Scene in San Diego and i plan to be in the mosh pit but still be able to leave without any bruises,scratches,broken bones,sprains,or anything else that can hurt me(like getting sat on...HAAHAA! i'm sorry...but i find that very funny...until it happens to me...anyways...)
i really enjoy reading these mosh pit stories...and what to watch out for...

Posts: 542 | July 24th, 2006 at 03:47pm So I officially bruised two ribs and cracked one... I just went to four days of concerts, Warped, AFI, Our Lady Peace, And Story Of The Year. I think it happened at AFI on Friday night because it was after that I came out hurting, but I'm guessing the other three didn't help, I don't even know when it actually happened, but I took a few elbows, and it might have been the kick to the ribs at AFI. But I went to the clinic today and they sent me for X-Rays haha.
It was the greatest weekend EVER. |

They started and some punks behind us started pushing and shoving. Now, I would've done the same, but my grandpa and little cousin (10) was with us.
So, we were pulled out by my cousin's friend's Mom and my Grandpa, hahahaa.

Ok here's my story:
I was at a show for a band called Top Of The Fair, they're really good [check 'em out] and there was this little moshpit going. so I jumped in like, YEAH MOSHPIT! and promptly got whacked in the face by some guys arm. So i started moshing...and then i punched the guy in the face. that was probably the first time he ever got hurt in a moshpit and it was because of some 5 foot tall chick. [yes i am that short] |

Exactly, she had to be carried ontop of the crowd up to the guards..and they had to bring even more people down, she was litterally yanked out of the crowd because she just wouldn't move.

but it sucks big time when your at a show and work super hard to get to the front and once ur there ur thirsty as hell. so i had a decsion at the mcr show water or die of lack of h2o and scream my brains out. and i chose scream my brains out. and nearly fainted till some dude splashed water on me. which helped |

Posts: 542 | July 29th, 2006 at 01:56am Water is the greatest feeling in pits, esecially when you're so close to the front, like two drops on your head can feel so much better, At AFI last Friday, the guards we're throwing pitchers of water out on everyone while we were all packed in there waiting for AFI to play, and pouring it in our mouths it was great.
Because it's such a waste to get so far up, and have to leave right after they start playing because you're too hot and thirsty. I always get water bottles and drink as much as I can at once and then go back in and wing it around above my head haha. |
