(I sure hope I'm doing this right. xD)
Poetry is a very easy thing for me.
Words just seem to flow.
I can't hold in my emotions, so I write them.

Goodbye, Moonlight.

Goodbye, Moonlight
I know you are fading
And the days I've wasted
Sitting here and praying
That you'll come and save me
That you'll take me away
Away from this nightmare
This awful place
But, you're not coming
I better stop dreaming
Dreaming for this nightmare
To turn into a happy ending

House of Lies.

She begs him to stay
As he brings tears
The little one cries
The oldest one fears
This home isn't very sweet
I don't think it ever was
She stays up waiting
He comes home with a buzz

The oldest asks if things are okay
The little one, innocent
Doesn't know what to say
Love is in the air?
More like affairs
She was pretty clueless
Up until this year

As he walks in one morning
From being out all night
One simple question
Quickly turns into a fight

The little one, scared
Grabs a teddy bear
Hugging and squeezing
Trying to forget the hate that is there
The oldest just listens
With a blank stare
Wishing for it to stop
Quickly turns on the stereo
For music to blare

That night, she wonders why
"Why did he betray me?"
She says to herself
As she starts to cry

He leaves with no word to the kids
Not even a goodbye
Ashamed at what he did
He slams the door
And off he drives

This home isn't very sweet
You see, it never was
Sometimes that fairy tale wedding
Doesn't come with love

Once Upon A Never.

Mirror Mirror, on the wall
We'll all shatter
Before we fall
The glass is sharp
You better not touch
One feel of hope
Will turn to dust

Your prince won't find you
He doesn't exist
No happy ending
No magical kiss
One won't help
Let alone seven
Your fairy godmother is lost
She isn't coming

A glass slipper isn't the only thing missing
Where is the prince that you should be kissing?
You have two ugly step sisters
But, they're actually kind of nice
You have a rat for a pet
Instead of little mice

The clock is ticking
It isn't talking
You better leave now
Get to walking

There is no land of make believe
Are you talking to yourself?
Because, everyone is asleep
You're dreaming of him
Though, he won't come
Your life is nothing to dwell upon

You are what you don't want to be
You want and you need
You don't look at what you truly see
You'll have to settle for reality

Only In Your Dreams.

If every night I had to choose
I'd wish on every star
To dream about you
To be the last thing I see
Before I wake up
I'll memorize your voice
I'll memorize your touch

My dreams of you are fading
All I see is fog
I'm waiting for you to appear
Your name, I call
"Where are you, love?
Why did you leave?
Is this romance forbidden?
Don't you love me?"

I might as well give up
I'll never see you again
How I wish for one dream
With you, to spend

Though the dreams have stopped
I will never forget
Your beautiful face
Your soft lips
Your soothing voice
That would tease my ears
Your caressing touch
That would dry my tears

I'll never feel the same
About anyone else
If I never dream again
I'll be all by myself
I hope you're real
I hope I find you
Mysterious gentleman
What do I do?
