Okay, so Our Lady Peace are my favourite band, and have been for a number of years.
I made a thread for them before, but it was deleted with the whole 'INO-clean up.'
So I'm making it again. =D
"Our Lady Peace, often abbreviated OLP, is a Canadian alternative rock band consisting of Raine Maida (vocals, rhythm guitar), Duncan Coutts (bass guitar, backing vocals), Jeremy Taggart (drums, percussion), and Steve Mazur (lead guitar, backing vocals). Until 2001, guitarist and founding member Mike Turner was a member of the band. During their career they have sold over five million albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards out of twenty nominations, and won ten MuchMusic Video Awards, including the People's Choice Award in 1997, 1998 and 2000. They have the most awards won by any artist or group at the MMVA's." - Taken from Wikipedia
They've released six albums, and are currently working on their seventh album, which is said to be completed some time this year.
Raine Maida, the vocalist, has also released a solo album, called 'The Hunters Lullaby.'
If you haven't already heard of them, definitely check them out:

I'm not a big fan, but they're really good and I love some of their songs. : )
First found out about them when they performed Chris Benoit's entrance song. xD

Well... from about three years ago, I was, major lulz at me.
I know they're pretty big in Canada, right?
They're practically an underground, unknown band here.
They might as well not even be signed to a label (not that they really are anymore, but that's an entirely different story), or have released so many albums. |

No, they've never been to Australia.
Twice they've scheduled, they've had to cancel.
I would sell my arm for 5 cents if it meant I could see them live.

Awww, Raine <33333
I really, really hope they come to Australia some time soon.
I was hoping they might tour after Healthy in Paranoid Times, but they didn't.
So fingers crossed, maybe this record in the making will bring them here. |

My mum (who desperately wants to go to Canada, as we've got family and friends over there) promised that if we ever go, I can go see OLP (as well as other wonderful Canadian bands, lulz), and she'll come with me.
She loves Raine. Ahaha. |
