Hey there.
This is my first try at poetry, so don't kill me if I turn out to be horrible.

~

Steady, Aim, Fire.

It was all too sudden,
You were just going to the park,
I wanted to see your smile,
After a bad day,
You were my anti-depressant to life,
But it all changed,
When they aimed the gun at your head,
And pulled the trigger,
So much blood on my hands,
As I held you in my arms,
I looked into your eyes,
You died with a smile,
In saying 'I love you',
Why did they do it?
I loved you so,
All the times we shared were gone,
I never got to kiss you,
We were only thirteen,
I didn't cry at your funeral,
Because I knew you wouldn't want me to,
I'll remember you forever,
Till the end of eternity,
For I loved you,
I love you.

Short, yes, but I have a few more. Tell me what you think.

And another.

~

Wish for silence,
As the footsteps approach,
Slowly but steady,
They stop at the door,
You tremble in fear,
They already took your family,
What more are you to them,
But another merciless soul,
Waiting for your impending death,
You see the sharp glint of the knife,
Blood drips from the point,
A scream stuck in your throat,
You cower as the handle turns,
A creak...
Dark eyes covered stare down,
You try not to cry as you're dragged out,
To meet the sting of the blade,
It reaches in and tears your flesh apart,
As the icy darkness rips into your heart,
You fade away into the night,
Say goodbye to the light.

Well, since nobody's reading, I'll be posting for fun then. Cheerio.
