Through touch, we can imagine beyond Surroundings, and emotions release. A recreation of a memoric battalion Presses to submerge in our thoughts And stride to pass beneath their waterfall. A memoir that consumes all attraction. The dazzling, moment petals of pure white roses Shed and breeze through meadows of trade To share our onyx, honoring respects, And we allow cultures to venture into The historic legacy. Saluting the innocent flower beds Who withered when their cores were polluted With ice from time’s winter, We annually bury feelings deep Within the stiff dirt they remain on. |

Would you all label me a nameless mime And stamp a caption upon my forehead If I huddled in that sacred place? After declaring lost existence, Would you pour out repressed aggression Through the cracked, echoing walls, while I alienate The raging emotions to express my revelation In this serene, sheltered ring? Over-counted tallies of records kept, Maybe knowledge has unfolded crumpled pages Of an eternal children's tale above, But perhaps I've adopted the comfort of Pastel-coated wishes too hastily. How can caging, electrified borders Inject therapy in their mesmerized, ignorant homes And suggest heavenly spheres present a mirage above? I can only hold firm and detest common acceptance of That enlarging, disease-like habit that is spreading rapidly. |

Your weary eyes drift away when you display Your heroic stance and prevent reality from Lunging at my sweet naivety. Skimming through and tossing harm to the alleys, Immortality should recognize your valor. There are violent blades of ignorance lurking In those streets below our brick-walled home, Pacing in anticipation if our soft floor will crumble. Momma, you wouldn’t agree to fall, But I cannot be sewn to your side. Surely I will be thrown to that pit, because Your embrace dwindles. Although you Hesitantly fade, your vivid soul thrives Within me, and the hungry daggers Will shatter when our stares meet. |

Anarchy of a flavorful sea of color, Violent beauty amidst the catastrophe. Chaotic wonder splashes across a lifeless square canvas. Unlimited by sprinkled fantasy and fulfilling gleams of glory. Air invading the cowering pores of creativity, Craving to invite addicting completion To converse with the soaking design. A spectacle of entreating whispers, Glowing majesty upon the face of a waterfall. The gentle, comforting winds of symphonic tones Played in the ear, pleading for a delicacy. Budging a tad and befriending the guest, Now blown by arctic, swift breezes and frozen over By the nestling and hustling companion. The mellow brush being silenced and longing For an escape to fervent celebration. |

Freedom’s a hostage to the tourniquet, And my body is helpless to this trashy regret. Bruises worn on flesh and bone. A heart stricken with selfish stone. His heavy rage may weigh on me, But shallow eyes turn carelessly. Accepting remedies after I sin, It's a twisted choice of medicine. Violently curling the threads upon my head, My blood is pleading to drown this dread. You've been selling my grace down a flaring stream, And now, its embers choke the throat of my dream. When you see a flashy doll of ecstasy, The lovely projection just might not be. |
Kitty Clover Jazz Hands Age: 32 Gender: Female Posts: 292 | I'm still working on a title for this one. It's a poem about "The Doctor" and I can't think of a title for it. I'm not sure if it's good so comments and criticism are really appreciated. Untitled With soothing, sweet and pleasurable Scents bestowed each cherished day, His perfected swagger treats the eye with A smile and painful, childish curiosity, Invading the infancy of the soul. He clips the starving buds of tainted flame And scatters their crisp ash to the open skies. Eyes so barren a place, for aggression, Yet so sullenly oppressed by the cursed, Stacked coins of treasured brilliance. The dreaded, tinted melancholy of a purple hue Swallowing his humble desires and kissing The roses left on the trail of his vast shadow "adieu" Betrays his bloom of parading nirvana. Humanity greatly grieves his absences, And maimed nations limp and stumble. The troubled children plead for his miraculous presence. A riddle plagues and praises his name... ...The Doctor..... |

Can you string up my tongue And take away my breath? I slipped a shallow thought, A greedy pitiful plot To stop the heckler in me. You pricked the keys along my spine And slithered, you're my scarf. My lungs are pleased with crimson wine And swept lashes' allure. Eclipsed eyes staring blind, Your heart, my mind, And I'll always rewind. |
