For some of you, you dream of seeing MCR in concert. I dream of seeing My Bloody Valentine, and have had this dream ever since I picked up a copy of Loveless five years ago. Anyone who has heard the album will know what happens next.
And I never thought I'd achieve the dream. Until Kevin Shields announced that the band were reuniting in 2007 for some gigs. Since then, I've been waiting for them to announce live dates for Australia and New Zealand.
It hasn't happened.
So I've decided (after failing to make enough money to go to Coachella and see them live) to start an online petition as my absolute last resort.

And I'm calling on you, my fellow Aussie and Kiwi INOpians, to help me out by signing it, and I would also really appreciate it if you would post it on your myspaces, facebooks, whatever so that others see it and sign it too.
It doesn't cost you anything, and if nothing else you're helping me delude myself that I might achieve my dream one day.
So please sign. If you've heard of MBV you'll know how much this means to me, if you haven't sign anyway and go check them out. Then come back after hearing it and sign again. |
