This is such a great concept. I've been wanting to hand out flyers for a while, but I don't have a printer. Maybe I can print them out at the library.

Hi.
I can see this thread has been dead for a while but it's time to keep it going again.
I'm one of the Staff-members of We're Okay Now - My Living Romance.
And it's my "job" to post updates from the project for you guys on here.
So I'll be posting updates as soon as I get any.
And here is the first one I have for you, it's from our street-team leader:

"In light of the controversy over the "My Chemical Cult" site, the latest task has been created to more or less form a counter to it. The new task is to post as many things (banners, blogs, bulletins, avatars, signatures, etc etc etc the whole nine yards) as possible saying "My Chemical Romance saves lives, they don't take them away" in as many places possible. Every forum you're on, every social networking site, any place possible. My challenge to you is to see how many you can get . Remember: avatars, signatures, banners, blogs, anything and everything. Feel free to make your own images displaying the slogan, as we are currently having more images made for this task (coming soon!). We have to get this message out, and the more people that stand up against the stereotypes - the more the stereotypers will see of the truth.

-Sarah"

Make sure you check out the My Living Romance homepage.

Thank you all for staying so active! I'm sorry that this project has been so quiet for a while. Our host and domain are down etc. etc. BUT luckily I put up a whole new site under my other site (www.johndoeweb.com) and activated the urli.net address again!

So, to sum up - we're alive again! Go check out the new site at www.mylivingromance.urli.net!

Register to our forum if you haven't yet, we're a very loving family! We also have a new MySpace and LiveJournal layout! So basically everything's all shiny and new!<3 Go check it out now! (Yes that's an order.)

And also! We've finally launched our One Good Thing-campaign!

"It could be anything, give a homeless guy a sandwich, help an old lady across the street like anything to make this world a better place. If everybody just did one good thing for another person like a selfless good deed just think about how much a better place this would be."
-Frank Iero

My Chemical Romance has always encouraged people to do one good thing a day. It doesn't matter what it is, but just do it, that's what they've always said. This project's main idea is to get everyone to do atleast one good thing a day, and post their 'good things' online at our site.

You can post anything you'd like. Saved the world? Post it. Made your mom happy by cleaning your house? Post it. It doesn't matter is it a big thing to do or not - a good deed is always a good deed and remember that good deeds don't always go unnoticed!

You can post your good deeds here or related pictures here! My Living Romance will later post them at our official site!

"Let your voice be heard and know that one person can make a differece, you just have to start trying now." -Frank Iero

Instructions: Just write what you did, how did it make you feel and if there was someone else involved how does it make him/her feel!

I think we can all agree on the fact that the band has begun a new era in their life line. To celebrate the new era of 2010 I've released new layout and updated a lot of the content on the site. This will be a new beginning for us too. On May our site has been running for three years which, I guess, isn't that long. But it surely feels like forever.

Wherein the bashing in the media has somewhat settled down at the present, My Living Romance is still alive as a loving community. Though our main priority is no more seeking distorted articles and e-mailing to magazines and sites, we still stand up for what we believe in and the site is still here to give hope and support to those in need. I encourage everyone to continue to spread the word and join the community. I welcome your story.

We're also celebrating the first awards of MLR as soon as the forum activates a little bit! I already have a few ideas for the categories and prizes but I'm free-minded for any suggestions! Once we've come up with the categories I'll think through the top 5 of each category and after that everyone on the board gets to vote! Fun, isn't it! And yes there will be a MCR/MLR related prizes to the winners!

Now chop chop, to the forums! And remember to hint our friends to join too!
