I personally love Guns, I didn't really know much about the memebers, apart from Slash and Axl, until this year, but I've always listened to them my whole life.
I mean, as overrated and mainstream as they are, November Rain and Sweet Child O Mine are still some of the best songs out there. I really like Patience and Don't Cry as well. And Paradise City and Welcome To The Jungle are good to get you moving.
As far as seeing them live go. I wouldn't want to unless it was the original members. Which it never will be, Steven is fucked, and Axl and Slash hate each other. I'd rather see Velvet Revolver.
But while they lasted, they were an amazing band, and everyone still has that music to go back to, so it doesn't matter what happens these days, if they get back together, well then yay, they get back together. If they don't, well, it's not different then is it. |

I mean, I love their songs from the Illusions and Appetite For Distruction and some of the new album, like "This I Love" because Guns now is only Axl
My favourite song is "Civil War". The melody, the lyrics... everything about this song is amazing. "You power hungry selling soldiers in a human grocery store"... this sentence is just.... I cant describe it |

I had a great admiration for them at first, even though I didn't really like them. Then, when I got into rock music, I checked them out and started loving them, along with some other bands (Bon Novi, Nirvana, the Clash*). I'm glad I did check them out, and they are amazing.
*Yes, I know they are punk. I'm alking about bands I got into. |
