Heart Attack. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 2274 | I'm going! I just bought my tickets today too. Me and my best friend that I haven't seen for a few months are going because I'll just be coming home from school for Christmas, so this is doubly exciting for me! Plus this will be my first time seeing My Chem live. I might just die of happiness lol. Just wondering, since its for that radio station, will they play a full set? Because I don't think its a part of their official tour, right, its just for the q101 Twisted show? |
Helmee Bluth In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 20963 | I don't know. I kind of assumed they would, but I don't know for sure. they're definitely the main act. and there are two other acts. I've never been to a Q101 Twisted show before, even though I've heard about it for years. Two tickets were like 94 dollars, so I hope it's a full set, lol. |

Helmee Bluth In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 20963 | I remember house of wolves and helena. and cancer was the encore, then vampire money was the last encore song and last song of the night. they also played i'm not okay (ee!) and thank you for the venom was like the second song. they played mama. I lurve hearing that live. this was actually my third mcr concert. fuck yeah. I want to see them again in april. it was almost a hundred dollars this time for two tickets, so I wasn't sure about just doing that again. but it was fun, so I want to . . . see them again. sentences are hard for me. I need to learn to be less aggressive at concerts. I think I almost got in a fight. I mean, not really, but it was an odd situation. oops. and they played look alive sunshine and na na na na na ... and GO! and sing and the only hope for me is you and the kids from yesterday. and desolation row! that actually came up on my ipod on shuffle before I left. I didn't expect to hear it. and they played the ghost of you, too. it sounded cool. different from other times I've heard it live. TL;DR version of the setlist: (not in order) house of wolves cancer helena vampire money I'm not okay thank you for the venom mama look alive sunshine/nanananana planetary GO! the kids from yesterday sing the only hope for me is you the ghost of you desolation row EDIT: welcome to the black parade teenagers oh, and Gerard did this thing after a few times where he'd put his palm in front of his face and lick it. was it supposed to be sexy? I thought it was cute and funny. Ray's hair was full and awesome. he sounded great, too. of course. ray fuckin toro. hearts. frank was moving around a lot, it was cool. it wasn't very reckless, which was good. I love that people aren't afraid to dance at mcr shows. Mikey was sexy. he had a glittery bass. jealous. he had a red one too. I think at least one of them had five strings. or maybe not. I don't know. I wore almost pastel colors. I wasn't the only one, but I expected less dark clothing this time around. |
Heart Attack. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 2274 | It was awesome! Me and my friend had 3rd row, but then with the crowd surge we ended up in 2nd row haha. I kinda thought i was gonna die cuz everyone was packed together, but I got used to it and it was so worth it!! Oh and to add to the setlist, they also played WTTBP and Teenagers, I mean its pretty much a given that they'd play those, but yeah. I was just really happy that they played a lot of stuff other than Danger Days. |
tarasaurus rex! Thinking Happy Thoughts Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 572 | Aaaahh such a fun time!!! I wish they would've played some other songs too, especially the B-sides. But yeah, my boyfriend and I were between Gerard and Frank's side and we got pretty close. Then with all the insane moshing we got real close, probably 4th row if there were rows, lol. We're going again in April, I can't effin wait!! It'll be my third time seeing em :'D |
Heart Attack. Salute You in Your Grave Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 2274 | ^Yeah the moshers were insane!! Personal space was nonexistent, at least where I was lol. But it was totally worth it. I was just in shock the whole time I think, like the show is kind of a blur to me now because I was just so, so happy and couldn't believe we got that close to the stage. btw, could anyone find any videos of the concert anywhere? I looked on youtube and all I could find was one of Sing and Thank You for the Venom. edit: just kidding there's a bunch of videos of it up on youtube now, i was just being impatient haha. |
Helmee Bluth In The Murder Scene Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 20963 | an alright scene:nice! yes, personal space was non-existent. like, wow. |
