05/18/2011 House of Blues; Orlando, Florida

I will be attending this show for sure! And I will hopefully be going to the Ft. Lauderdale show the day before as well. This will be my first time seeing My Chem at this venue in OVER FIVE YEARS. I saw them for my 4th time at this HOB on October 11th, 2005. I still consider it the best My Chem show I've ever been to, and I've seen them 12 other times. I'm so pumped they're playing smaller venues again. It will be really nice to have a more intimate concert experience with them once again. Not that the arena tour was bad, just not my cup of tea.

I do have a question about this show though. It's still not listed on Ticketmaster! Looks as if all the other dates are, so I'm getting a bit anxious. Was planning on doing the presale for this show, but if the date doesn't go up on Ticketmaster, I don't know how I'm supposed to do that. If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.

Anyways, I can't wait to see you all at this show! It's bound to be AWESOME.

Hey, since you've been to this venue before, is there a place to wait by their bus or something after the show? I know that they usually come out and sign things for fans, and I've been dying to meet them for years.

You are in luck, because it's super easy to meet bands at this venue. I actually just saw Motion City Soundtrack at this HOB a week or so ago and met the lead singer, Justin Pierre. I've met tons of bands here.
It's located in Downtown Disney, so usually the band walks around a lot before the show, considering there are a bunch of little shops and stuff to see. There used to be a Virgin Megastore right across from the venue, but unfortunately it went out of business. Bands were always in there before the show - actually saw Gerard shopping there before my 2005 show.
Also, the tour buses usually pull into this gated-in area to the right of the venue. If you want to meet them after the show, I would just head over there. There will most likely be a bunch of other fans waiting to meet them too.
So yeah, you definitely have a good chance of running into the guys, especially if you get there a bit before the show and just walk around. Good luck with meeting them!

Yep, I'll be at the Revolution show as well! And, I was thinking the same thing. These boards used to be so active but it seems as if everyone has disappeared...

just found out, ten days before the show that i'm most definitely going.

i just lost all hope in searching for tickets when a fellow killjoy friend of mine told me her mom had like 3 extra tickets.

i'm very excited, of course, to be around other members of the mcrmy.
