MCR obbsession!- Is it healthy?

i managed to tame my obsession a bit, i'd like to say im a happy medium =]

i think my MCR obssession is borderline unhealthy
(not that its means im gonna stop being obssesed lol), none of my mates are MCR fans and that kind of makes it worse, i kinda come out with random MCR triva and they roll their eyes, and they all no my bedroom walls are near enough covered in posters and stuff.
I mean yh i do spend a lot of what little money i have on MCR merch and like to wear it a hell of alot (specially coz it pisses my mates off) but hey!!!

Obsessions are probably not very healthy. But i wouldn't say that MCR fans are actually obsessed, I mean we're all pretty passionate [ok very passionate] about them and their music and knowing everything about them but I think it's because we look to them as role-models we all admire the way they live so yeah we get hooked on knowing everything about their lives. Actual obsession probably exists but I don't believe that it's come to a point that people can't function with My Chemical Romance playing through their headphones or what not. We all love My Chemical Romance but I'm sure given a certain situation we could go without them for a few days. They're still imprinted in our minds but I think it's because we respect them so much to think that way.

Thats just my opinion on it anyway x]

There are way worse things to be obbsesed with.

Oh, agreed! My friend could tell you Gerard's life story because of me. She absoulutly hates it when i talk about them, as the only song she likes by them is ''Famous last Words''. And Im always just saying random MCR quotes, or yelling out lyrics. And the thing I do worst:
When people say ''No way!'', I shriek ''There is so a Way, you ass! There's two Ways!''


And I have school camp in a few days. So Im taking my mp3 player to listen to MCR, my phone because I have alot of pics of them on there, and a poster of them. Mainly because alot of shit goes on at every school camp, and MCR cheer me up easily.

I think know my obsession is healthy what gets me out of bed in the morning, keeps me going, makes me feel better, and gives me hope.

IMHO a fan obsession only becomes unhealthy when u let it disrupt your social life & school performance/work or things like that. otherwise everyone is entitled to their own obsessions. I mean, try telling a Trekkie that Klingon isn't a real language.

& from the testimonials ive read on this site, obviously MCR has brought so much good to so many ppl's lives... there4 r definitely unhealthier things to obsess abt, & MCR is not one of em
