it bothers me that they no longer seem to be proud of what they achieved musically with tbp. i totally get that they were affected by all the madness that tbp lead to, but i still feel that they shouldn't be so negative about the album. i guess in a way i kind of feel offended because it is my favorite album and it means so much to me.
also, it pisses me off to no end that fans can't accept that the mcr wives make them happy. all this hate and jealousy, right now particularly aimed at lyn-z, makes me rage. |

Even if he wasn't having the occasional drink now, it would be ridiculous for people to do that. That's acting like he's just a child, when he's a man in his 30's. That's like not eating meat around Frank because he's a vegetarian.
captain fantastic:As far as organization, how would you have organized it? It has a weird flow (if that makes sense), but it has a pretty clear progression in terms of narrative. As a result I have pretty mixed feelings about the order too.
I don't know,
I just don't like how two quiet songs are together (Scarecrow + Summertime) and have a ~heavy song afterwards (Destroya) and then back into a softer song (Kids from Yesterday).
Not sure how I would arrange it, but it could've been better. |

As if listening to mcr from a long time ago makes them a better fan than the new ones.
A fan is a fan. Whether they just started listening to them or not.
I'm fine with new fans, just as long as they aren't annoying and teenies.~ |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 9 | September 12th, 2011 at 07:47am Gerard kind of bothers me. I think he is a very good frontman, and his voice/lyrics have a certain charm. He unfortunately just comes off as a bit pretentious to me. Ray, however, is awesome. I met him (and saw the tailend of Frank & Bob) at the NYS Fair in 2007. Nicest guy. They were in a hurry, but Ray simply smiled at my sister and I before turning back around, proceeding to chat with us and take a picture.
And I hate how some of their worst songs are the singles and they continue to dominate the setlists with them. I know tons of singles fans go the shows, so I understand. Doesn't mean I can't get peeved though. |

Yeah the tone seems just a bit too light right now. Don't get me wrong, the lyrics are good, but nothing like as thoughtful as they have been in the past, with the exception of SING. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 50222 | September 15th, 2011 at 10:16am I don't like that they made up an excuse about Gerard's voice for Bob leaving (who they couldn't keep working with, btw, it wasn't all their fault. It takes two to tango) when they should have just been honest. I think they copped on though with other things. |
