I love Craig Owens and I'm glad to see he's making music again... I like the 2 songs on their Myspace so far, I can't wait to hear the album.

I don't know if I like the band name (The long vers.) it seems kind of thrown together and silly. Doesn't take away from the music though so I'm not going to complain.

I have to agree with you there, the long version just doesn't sound right to me =/
I do love 'if you think this song's about you, it probably is.'
The video for it's pretty awesome too!

I found that too, the more I listened the more I enjoyed it.

I think the album artwork is pretty cool too.

I just really like the use of colour, it makes it stand out a lot tbh.
It's very different, but a good different I think. [:

It's something different and the colors are great.

You can preorder the album here and hear the new song "Sex Life". =]

I don't agree with Craig's little "sex tape" publicity stunt, but it got the attention of people...

I'm really loving the new track 'Sex Life,' but I must agree, I didn't like the publicity stunt much.
I can see where he was coming from with it, but I think it kind of back fired a bit.
It just seemed like a very silly way to get a point across, especially when you have a girlfriend and don't tell her what's you're planning.. ><

Bunch of stuff...
They have a whole bunch of songs on youtube from the CD accompanied with videos, not sure if they've put the whole album up for it yet.

I'm the Rehab, You're the Drugs
Stop Reading, Start Doing Pushups - AOL
Laminated E.T. Animal
Sex Life
Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm
Graveyard Dancing - on MTV
The Only Thing You Talk About - Alt Press (was Thermacare)
If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is
My Swagger Has A First Name - just a song, no video.

They're on the cover of the next issue of AP

You can download Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm for free from Kerrang! if you sign up for the mailing list.
---------------------------
I want to go buy the CD Tuesday but I'm unsure if I can get there to get it... but I'm definitely getting it sometime next week, I've been so excited for this CD. <3

I first heard 'If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is' some time this week on Kerrang! radio and loved it. And now from the other songs I've heard so far, I'm really liking them =]

But did anyone understand the video for 'Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm'? Did the guy with the mask disappear? Was it his imagination/the pills? I'm not sure if I missed something or if there is no story behind it and I'm reading too much into it xD

I can't believe the last time I posted in this thread was when the CD came out a year ago. Sad any fans still here and heard about the probable break up? Started after the news of Craig reuniting with Chiodos came out...

Nick, Aaron, and Matt:
To our loyal fans and friends,

After much thought and consideration we (Matt Good, Nick Martin and Aaron Stern) have decided to announce that we will be moving on from D.R.U.G.S. This decision has not been easy to make, and we want to express how grateful we are for all of you who have supported us and made this the incredible experience it has been over the past couple of years. We’ll always look back on our time in this band with pride, and have no regrets about the music we’ve made or the people we’ve made it with. We want to thank everyone who has believed in us, and we hope you’ll keep believing in us. We look forward to the future, and we know we’ll be seeing you again soon, no matter where our paths lead next.

With love and gratitude,
Matt, Nick and Aaron

Craig Owens on the 3 leaving:
I wish Nick, Aaron & Matt the best of luck in moving forward, in whatever it is that they decide to do. They are all very talented individuals and I have no doubt that they will succeed no matter what it is they choose to do next. They stood next to me during one of the most difficult times in my life and I will never be able to thank them enough for what it is that they did for me. I wish them the best of luck and I hope, most of all, that they continue to make music. They’re extremely talented and professional musicians and music fans should be treated to their talents for many years to come.

As for the future of DRUGS… I obviously have a few things to figure out as this was a completely unexpected turn of events. I will let you, the fans, know what the future holds for Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows soon.

Most of all, I will never be able to thank each and everyone of YOU! For standing behind me when I get knocked down, for sticking with me during one of the hardest moments in my life, for always being there by my side while I figure out my personal problems, and most importantly for always being there for me, no matter what the circumstance. I owe all of you more then I’ll ever be able to give back in the form of music, or a blog… but I can promise you one thing, and that is… I WILL NEVER STOP being there for you, as you have always been there for me, that I can promise you..

-Craig Owens

I get the worst feeling that the 3 didn't agree with Craig reuniting with Chiodos and I'm not sure I do either. It shocks me he would go crawling back to Chiodos after all the shit that went down with them. I really hope that Craig doesn't attempt to continue Destroy Rebuild, he's the only original member left, he'd be better off adding another solo project to his list. I wish I had gotten to see them actually tour a headlining show, and this just comes after the news of them working on album #2... Sad.

I kinda got the feeling that Craig hadn't really told the others he was rejoining until well, everybody else found out. also he made them sign a contract stating that they couldn't continue as DRUGS without him [Matt tweeted about it], which is a shitty thing to do but kinda understandable seeing as he was already kicked out of Chiodos once.
I was never really into DRUGS [heh] but I hope the guys in the band continue making music because they're pretty nice dudes and don't deserve to be fucked like this. I know it's unlikely, but a FFTL reunion would be fabulous
but yeah, I am so stoked for him rejoining Chiodos Very Happy
