("said we're not savages until we do it again", "don't let me sleep tonight", "one last night i'll kiss your lips again", etc.) xo. |
| meganelizabeth Thinking Happy Thoughts  Age: 31 Gender: Female Posts: 503 | i dont really get this song either, but i remember Gerard saying in (i think it was) the WSOU interview that "sister to sleep" was a reference to the Sandman comic books (which are amazing btw), and that this song was hoped to be included in the Freddy Vs Jason sountrack. personally, (this hardly makes sense) i take the song to mean that: the only time he/she feels alive is when their dreaming, [Cause I close my eyes, I see land] this is due to the medication they're taking [Cause I can't ever sleep at night the same, This medication enjoys, enjoys most every day] and they're terrified of what happens in their dreams [I'm sleepwalking back into this hell], as he/she's scared their going to get in someones way [Don't let me sleep tonight, and get in your way tonight] *shrugs* i wish more interviewers had asked about this song... |
