Black Christmas:
This song is about a couple. One of them decides that he wants to shoot himself in the head. His lover tells him to not do it, to just think happy thoughts and not do anything regarding him hurting himself. It's sending a good message to kids that suicide is not good.

By the way, does any one know what
And the red one's make me fly
And the blue one's helf me fall

means?
Thanks.

"And the red one´s make me fly. And the blue one's help me fall"
I think the he means eyes. The blue eyes are on the angels, that makes him fly. The red eyes are on the devil. They help him fall when he wants to kill himself. They want him to fall. But the blue one´s giving him hope and makes him fly. It's difficult to explain, but I allways had that vision. You think I'm on to something?

I think when Gee sings "And the red ones make me fly, and the blue ones help me fall" he's talking about pills.

I think this song is about suicide, but that part is about overdosing on pills. I mean if you really think about it.

Me and my friend used to joke and think of them as Jolly Ranchers xD

I know my answer was a little too... Weird Razz But I tried. It might be about drugs. Or maybe I'm right :]

Yes, I agree with you Smile
Even the way hes singing is just very... happy and random.
He is about to blow his brain against the ceiling and stuff... i think drugs fit into the story Smile

but this is just my opinin Smile

this is such a beautiful.. I listen to it almost everyday.. <3

"Frank was high and he was talking about blowing his brains against the ceiling and when the skull fragments fell they turned into pixie dust and they could fly away like in peter pan with pixie dust an never never land" I don't remember where I got this from.. I think it was somewhere here in the same thread .. maybe..?

this song is pretty clear.. to forget your troubles and what makes you sad.. ''Think happy thoughts..'' and ''we'll fly home''

This is about a person who is taking anti depressant pills and wants to shoot them selves they are so upset. He's encouraging the kid to be happy, instead of sad, because the person doesn't deserve to die

This song is deeper than on the surface. The upbeat music combined with the story of someone depressed, abusing drugs, and contemplating suicide, is echoed in the repeated lyric, "Just think happy thoughts." Then happy thoughts of "pixie dust" and "flying away" are used to express the suicide wish, showing just how trite the "just think happy thoughts" advice is. Finally, he says, "that's what I said to her. . . ." and breaks off, showing that he once gave that advice, perhaps to someone suffering depression or suicidal thoughts, and now he realizes how unhelpful it was.
