At first my mom was okay with them. Then I left the computer on when i went to sleep and I was listening to Vampires on Youtube and she saw the title and freaked. So now whenever i'm watching a video or interview , she's like " You have to be careful what you listen to. Are any of their songs satanic? I don't like you watching gays."
My dad just walks past and says " Why do you keep watching those gays and lesbians?" |

This is my reply to that.
1. MCR is classified as alternate rock not emo
2. When i was really depressed and suicidal MCR saved my life not killed me
3. Its not a phase all teenager go through look at my friends only one other likes MCR |

Especially parents. They need to respect their kids and their views. |

Mission success. |

Age: 27 Gender: Female Posts: 10 | March 15th, 2013 at 08:14am My mama's a hypocrite when it comes to this stuff - she was a KISS fangirl in her day, and has still has a collection worth about five thousand pounds... but MCR and all other rock is 'bad for me'. She's trying to make me get rid of all my music and stuff not happening.
As for my Dad, he doesn't even know. He heard Na Na Na on TV once and said something like "If my kids ever end up listening to that stuff, I'm disowning them" so yeah.... secret obsession over here. |
