One of the things that scares and confuses me about being an adult
what would I do if I got hurt? Or if something was seriously wrong, and I decided I needed to go to the hospital.
Would I tell someone? Part of me thinks, if I told my dad, I'd just be immature, like I can't do things on my own. and then another part of me thinks, if I don't, he'll hate that I didn't let him know.
like, how do I be an adult? I don't know? I don't know how far I'm supposed to take this "doing stuff on my own" thing. |

And the fact that Collin is coming on my NJ trip is really weighing on my shoulders, because if i let him come with me. If i let him come into the part of my life that no one was in before, I have officially moved on from Kayla and I don't know that i'm ready for that yet.

But when I was at the mall yesterday, my sister pointed out the displays in the Windows for the Lego store and for build a bear. Both had police themes.
It's nice. Because you should teach kids to respect the police, not fear them. Most of them are there to help. .
It's subtle. It's not in your face. It's just a gentle reminder, without even actually having to say anything positive or negative. and I like that. |

Even when I try to smile and appear really photogenic, everyone else seems to shine, and I'm more of a background decoration on the wall they're standing next to. Bleh. |

But realise that everyone has grown up, and the band has broken up and it's all so different now, and I have to accept that. |
