i just came across this on walden books.havent heard about it anywhere so it must not be that amazing

Hey, I saw this a while ago, im not sure about it, but I do know for a fact thats its not the official first biography of that. The official one was written by Paul Stenning, and theres a really old thread about this book topic somewhere im sure, so maybe someone said something about it on there! |

Now I know this is an unofficial book but it's just ridiculous, the author of this book really should have done his research because there are so many things that he got wrong!
He got Gerard's birthday wrong for start, Gerard was born on April 3rd, 1977 when infact he's born on April 9th, 1977.
He states that Gerard went to Art school in 1966. How the hell could he of done that when he was born in 1977?
Through out the whole book the band are labelled 'emo'
There are lots of spelling mistakes throughout the book and the repitition of two words eg: 'the band were with with eyeball records'
They get Gerard's name wrong several times, calling him Gerad, Gerald and Gerrard.
They call Ray Toro, Ray Tory.
They say how Gerard's breakdown from Drink and Drugs came way after the Im Not Okay video when it came before Three Cheers was even made!
The most annoying thing is that they say Matt got sacked from the band after the Im Not Okay video and was replaced by Bob then, when infact Bob is IN the Im Not Okay video and Matt was sacked just before it was made.
I could name loads more mistakes in the book but I can't remember them, lol.
I know it's an unnofficial book but this author really should of done his research, even I could write a better book than this.
I hope people read all of the reviews that this book has recieved and I hope they decide not to buy it."
