| the original JULES Demolition Lover  Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 19598 | Well, after a quick browse through our beloved Aussies & Kiwis forum, I was pretty much struck by how many stuuuuuuuuupid threads there are here. Admittedly, I'm a bit slacker in this area of INO, only because I am Aussie. However, please remember the same rules apply here! Our forum contains A LOT of spam, especially in frequently used threads. We have a What Are You Thinking thread, so please use it! Keep in mind the following: 1. Please use this thread for anything relevant to MCR in the media, or their release downunder. This includes when they're on TV, premieres of video clips, etc. 2. This and this thread can be used for less popular TV shows, or books, magazines, movies etc. Obviously, you know what determines as 'big' in Aus/NZ, so if you think they're worth their own thread, go ahead and make one; (Big Brother, Aus. Idol, etc.) 3. Please do not make specific threads, such as a thread for your high school, or a thread asking people if they're going to the same show as you! We have a tour thread, and we have threads dedicated to schools and universities. USE THEM!! 4. If you have a story to share, chances are there is a relevant thread. We only have two pages of threads here, so there are no excuses for not searching! For example, if you met MCR, or someone saw them somewhere, that can be discussed in NUMEROUS threads (just off the top of my head). 5. Lastly, I have created this thread for that time where a person is selling a ticket to a gig that's going on. Rather than having fifty million threads for ticket selling, it's easier to find if there's just one thread. It may not be used often, but you now know it exists, so please use it. Now that that's done... Please follow these tips, as it really does help to create a much better forum here. It cuts out a lot of spam, and pointless threads altogether. Thanks! =) |
