We have officially begun filming for the fan-made film based on "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge." Yesterday, August 12th, we filmed scenes for I'm Not Okay, Give 'Em Hell Kid, and we filmed all sequences for It's Not A Fashion Statement.... Some of you may remember the first trailer which I posted last month, and many of you helped me a lot with getting the word out and offered to help even more. We shot most of the scenes for this trailer yesterday as well.
I still have not been able to contact the band or any representatives of the band for their permission. I'm going to Projekt Revolution on the 15th (that's two days!) and I will be bringing DVDs of this trailer which I will try to get to them. I'll bring a few in case anyone around can get it to them on the (highly likely) chance that I cannot. If anyone is going to see them, or has any way at all of getting this to them, then PLEASE DO download the trailer, burn it, send it to them, whatever. Spread the trailer like wildfire; I want them to know about this, I don't want to go behind their backs.
There is a LOT of work ahead of us and a lot of editing for me. The actors I've got so far have worked incredibly hard. The guy you see in the new trailer, playing The Man, is a highly skilled effects guy and is doing all of the effects and blood, all of this for free. No one is making any money. I am actually spending money on fake blood, though, as well as gas for my car, creepy contact lenses, etc. ^_^
Like I said, I will be at PR on Wednesday at Jones Beach. I am still looking to film extras for the army of corpses. A few of you have contacted me already and I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you; I will before Wednesday with my cell phone number if you want to meet up and die for the camera. ^_^ If you know of a way of getting the DVD's I'm bringing to the guys, you can contact me for that, also. Most of all, please spread this trailer if you like this idea. Or if you hate it, spread it anyway and hope that MyChem hates it and puts a stop to it. ;D
