There are people who think they have to look a certain way because they are MCR fans.

They like wearing black and eyeliner. They usually won't say they're emo, but it's still there. The style. That they're now following.

It pisses me off because they're making the stereotype worse. Don't dare tell me I'm wrong.

I'm with you. It's not all the eyeliner black clad people, but some are just too scene and fits into the stereotype so well (in look AND attitude) it's no wonder the negative stereotype persists.

I go to school.. and i don't really dress like an emo.. i dress like a skater or a punk but a little girly.. and people know i listen to mcr and everything... and then people call me emo.. and gothic.... its because i listen to them and wear a lot of eyeliner.. and black shirts... wtf! I get soo pissed off when people say that about me cause like.. i don't cut myself or anything...

I think I'm too old to be labeled emo for liking MCR. Back in my day emo was called goth but it was all the same stuff. New generation, new label. But I don't wear tight pants, I don't cut, I don't have a scene hair style and I've been wearing black eyeliner since before some people who like to throw the labels around were even born. I go to all sorts of shows for all sorts of artists. I've seen pop, rap, r&b, rock, metal, country and punk shows. I like being in the "none of the above" category when it comes to stereotypes.

I find that "Emo" is a huge steriotype for MCR fans
1.MCR is NOT EMO
2.Emo is a horable lable
3.Mainley the people that make all of these lables are popular people who think there better then anyone elce.
