It's wierd actually. I've liked loads of bands before MCR but when I started listening to MCR I became attached to them.
I think with MCR fans, it's like we're all in this together like an army or something.
Plus they treat their fans great, their live shows are awesome and the music is amazing =D

I honestly didn't listen to their genre of music before. But when a friend of mine introduced me to another one of their songs other than the Black Parade wich everyone has heard a billion times, I was hooked and I haven't stopped listening to them since. Personally, I can just relate with the lyrics, and I like the concept album idea and the way his lyrics are so thoughtful. I also think it's funny that they're so badass on stage but offstage they're really down to earth and just a bunch of nerds. They definitely get me through a lot of hard stuff

The first song I heard by them was I'm Not Okay. I was 13 at the time, and way to fragile to handle anything like that.I decided I didn't like the song because it was to heavy. I kind of forgot about them after that, until I heard Teenagers. I was reading at the time, and listening to one of the music channels. When it first came on, I thought to myself "This song pwns. I wonder who it is?" *looks up from book* "My Chemical Romance, haven't I heard one of their songs before?" I decided that song was uber cool, and I looked it up on the internet. After playing it over and over and over i decided I needed the cd it was off of So I bought The Black Parade, and i've been in love ever sense. I just love the fire they inspire inside me, no other band has been able to do that for me. They never saved my life, but I always feel better after I listen to them.

i think what makes them so incredible is not the music or the message or the clothes or the looks, it's all of them put together. they just rule because of who they are. because of how much they cared and didn't bullshit.

Personally, when i first saw them, i didn't think much of them. I have watched the i'm not okay video and like how they did the video but didn't like the song as much. When my friend gave me a burn copy of their album, I got really hooked. I guess in this generation we needed a band that can speak for us. Sorta have that voice we were longing to seek. Their message is so powerful and the fact that they stand against everything from homophobic to sexism. They also care for their fans and actually tries to put out a good show every night no matter if they're sick or exhausted. the fact they haven't let fame get to them now that they've gotten really big. Their music in a lot of ways has put me at ease for everything I face, good or bad. So giving them my support and loyality as fan, is my way for repaying back everything they have done for me, which is just being themselves and creating music.

I don't know exactly why, but they are just unlike any other bands. I agree with 'Beautiful_Nightmare', it almost feels like we are an army.

There themselfs...and there proud of it. We can relate to them, in many different ways, wheather its the instrament you play or intrests. They write songs that have meaning, it's not just a song thrown together. Good values too, there agenced ANY kind of discrimination, from gender to sexual orianation. The band didn't from because they wanted to become big, it formed to escape problems that they had.

Their music is so different than everything out right now.
They don't change their music to fit in with everything else.
They are completley dedicated to being musicians and they aren't in it for the fame.
They have an eternal love to their fans and I have an eternal love to them.
