I was aware of them for a long time before, and I always thought their videos were awesome, but when I saw "Welcome to the Black Parade," all I could think was, "This is what it looks like in my head! Yes!" Since then, I've heard and love all their albums. (As well as becoming irreparably addicted to Gerard's comic after one issue.  ) Incidentally, The Black Parade also provided the soundtrack for a novel I wrote. (The novel was started a few months before the album came out, but that music just gave me the adrenaline rush I needed to write it. It was awesome.) Yay! Happy birthday, The Black Parade!  |
