A band from LA, fronted by Jenny Lewis, whose name you may recognise as her vocals featured on several tracks (including "Sleeping In" ) on The Postal Service's album Give Up. Other members of the band play with Bright Eyes.
They're brilliant. I love "Does He Love You?" so much. I get shivers every time I hear the ending, it's such a twist. <3 |

I first started listening to them a few years ago, & fell in love.
There was a time when More Adventurous didn't leave my CD player.
I think my favorite song is "Hail to Whatever You Found in the Sunlight That Surrounds You" off of The Execution of All Things. Maybe.
I also love Jenny's solo work.

And so my post is more relevant to the actual thread--I expected Under the Blacklight to chart higher on all of the music magazine's end-of-the-year lists. I thought it would be in the top 5 all the way. |
