2 years or not, i know that i will still love them just as much, because they have done so much for me...in a way, i am kinda glad that they will be taking time off b/c they deserve it...they have worked so hard for a really long time, and they deserve some time to enjoy with the ppl that they love. also, it will give me an opportunity to discover new bands. |

It's not like there's not a lot of thought in the songs right now, don't get me wrong, but I don't want to see an album rushed. I want them to take their time, they need a break from all the fangirls, and from all the stage crap. I think they made a good choice. They're probably still going to do interviews, but not one like, every day. |

they're about to embark on an american tour through late march/april before saying goodbye. [tour dates are still being released]
personally,
i've never believed that "the break" will last for two years.
maybe/possibly/i hate to think about it, they wont tour for another two years,
but if they haven't released the new album in two years time, i'll be very, very surprised.
edit*
as for a change,
i think that maybe the themes of the songs will be more centered around love rather than death, seeing as mikey, frank and gerard have all gotten married since tbp.
i'll be happy with whatever they come up with. |

but they need it.
i don't think anything will change that much tbh, apart from a new form of MCR, maybe even a few children.... |
