" Pangender: "Pangender is a term for people who feel that they cannot be labeled as male or female in gender. These people feel that they are mixed gender, identified equally as both male and female. They either feel that they are genderless or that they are some other gender altogether" Both androgyny and pangender have been used in th past as fashion statements i.e. marilyn manson's albumn cover mechanical animals shows him with both breasts and a bulge where his male genetals would be. Do you have any thoughts for or against androgyny and pangender? Do you think that adrogyny is less acepted in society, than say gay people or transgenders? for more information try these links Androgyny Pangender |

Jesse Lacey; Awake and Unafraid Age: 28 Gender: Female Posts: 12077 | I think this is something only someone who feels it can explain, but I think it should be accepted. The government has no right to say that because of who you are you're not as good as any one else. |

IceHog69 Bulletproof Heart Age: 31 Gender: - Posts: 25232 | Androgynous people often get the piss taken out of them, and laighed at. People often come up to me and ask me if I'm a guy or a girl, as I don't really look much like either of them. I think of myself more as a girl than as a guy, but my body tells a different story. I guess I come under both the umbrella of pangender and androgynous and therefore I can answer the question is it accepted. Yes, yes it is, because people can't really tell if you are a guy or a girl, they just kinda make you what they want you to be, you know? I know people that think of me as a guy, but most of my close friends tell me things they would only tell a girl. I think people almost can't tell that you're androgynous/pangender, because it is human nature to assign people a name, a label, and so if you fall into that catagory, you get called either male or female, depending on what people think of you more as. I have people watch me in the street, because they don't know what I am, but in the end, they make up their minds, which is often the wrong gender. I don't care, and I play on the fact that I have a boyish face, and a girly waist, but I think that as you get older, people expect you to behave in a certain way according to whether you are male or female. Women are supposed to wear dresses, and skirt suits, whilst men have to wear bowties, and tailcoats. Being someone who feels more comfortable as the opposite sex, you end up in an odd position, because you are forced to wear something, or do something that isn't comfortable, or natural to you. |
freak_boi Killjoy Age: 32 Gender: Male Posts: 63 | From the trans people i know, some really dont like the ones who identify by both lol. They tend to say things like 'they should make their mind up' and this, that and the other. Silly really, especially when you think about it. I just think, be what you are just dont boas and scream it to the world=] |
Ignore Alien Orders Salute You in Your Grave Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 2026 | That's kind of a silly outlook. Gender is psychological, and if you don't identify specifically as male or female then you shouldn't have to pretend to just because someone thinks you're being indecisive. |
