I am a twin.

me and my sister are more of best friends that sisters. we get on so well, we never argue. we even hang around together in school.

but we are both so different. she loves westlife and the backstreet boys while i love Mcr and Fall out boy.

i hate it when people think of us as one or call us the twins.

id do anything for her.

and she has agreed to come and see Mcr with me (proberly cause im going to see westlife and backstreet boys with her

I'm a twin as well, and I suppose we're "special" (just because we don't have that many twins out there). I've never really had friends, but my sister's always been there for me and I know she always will. She actually introduced me to Green Day, which was a "gateway band" of sorts. From there I found every band I like today.

As for the twin mind thing, I dislike that. People always ask "Can you tell when she's in trouble?" and honestly, it's just annoying. Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't. I think it comes more from the closeness of being a friend than the fact that we're twins.

i totally agree, the moment you tell someone you're a twin the first question they ask "do you feel/think what the other one is feeling/thinking?" Honestly, i wouldn't know. I guess there are times. There are times that we do have the same thoughts and stuff but i wouldn't think its special. Me and my twin are both idenitical and we're totally different from each other. She's more girly and i'm not really. It's funny though because people still get us confused.

i have identical twin daughters and they are very close. They hate to be noticed and do not like it when people stare at them, which they get quite often.

To be fair, I know alot of twins. I don't think they're that special. Apparently if You are a leftie [left handed]; you had a twin sister/brother in the uterus. I think its kind of a miracle too though.

I really don't find twins altoghther that special. I mean, its like having a ready-made best friend when you're born. And I find there is 'special connections' between anyone that close. Take my bestie and me. We like say things in unison without meaning ot and I usually know her thoughts and she knows mine. And we've only been best frineds for a few years. And we're totally different. she hasn't even heard 'Teenagers'. I feel it just depend on how much you love each other!!

And my friends are unidentical triplets, and they fight ALL the time!! But sometimes, they are just so, together, its creepy. Once in a blue moon. But I've never known them to say, oh shes in trouble, or what one of the others is thinking.

I think that they do, but maybe it's only when they are the same gender and actually look alike? I always thought that a kids twin was always their best friend. That's actually quite interesting....

My sisters are twins (ferternal - not identical) and they are opposites (in looks also) maybe not complete opposites but they are opposites but I know for a fact that twins can sense when something is wrong with the other twin or when the other twin is having physical pain or something. It's kind of freaky but really cool. I've always wished I had a twin..still do.

If you watch BB, when the twins where on, and they did those sympatic paths, when Amanda drew a pie and the other one knew?

I so agree with you im a twin. I feel people look at me different because i am a twin. Im fed up with people saying are you 2 twins and if i hit your sister will you feel it.

I have never had a really close friend but my sister is always their for me and i love her to bits. im older and i look out for her
