I wrote this one around Christmas last year, only found it again today.

No presents for you, this Christmas.
No Christmas songs either,
You’re gone from us now.
The pain’s still not weaker.

They say that time is a healer,
That it will blunt the edge.
But time is neglecting it’s duties,
You’re all I see in my head.

If I could have a Christmas wish,
It would be to spend time with you.
I miss you more with each passing day,
Still hard to believe it’s true.

Words cannot describe how I feel,
When I think of you that way,
All I can do is dry my eyes,
And tell myself it’ll be okay.

You will never be forgotten,
You’ll never be replaced,
But this Christmas will be lonely,
Without your smiling face.

I like this, its just something I can relate with. Believe me, you are not the only one who feels this way =)
Just remember to read the Poetry forum rules, which are saying that now you gotta post all of your poems in this same thread =)
