Mad World.:
well as much as i would love for mcr to be immortal, i really hope they don't keep rocking forever like the stones. don't get me wrong i love the stones and aerosmith, but there's something about a sixty something old dude rocking out that freaks me out No i hope we get awesome stuff out of them for a good long while in their younger years, and then we'll have awesome memories, not the creepy kind (sorry for saying so)

well i agree that in some cases old ppl rockin out can be creepy, but .... i just hv this to say. I'm 21, from the Green Day/FOB generation so to speak, but i'm in love with old school bands like Aerosmith (seriously my 2nd fave band next to MCR!), the Stones, Deep Purple, ACDC etc. Good music is good music regardless of how old the person playing it is. Especially if it's rock n roll, babe! Btw i recently watched a 2007 Aerosmith show and unbelievably enough, those guys can still jump around and seriously sizzle.

And yeah, Steve is still hot. For reasons i cannot fathom seeing as he's at least 8 years older than my dad.

I'm 30 and I plan on checking into the nursing home next week. It's all over, man. I'm no longer useful to society. Hook me up to the 'phine and bring me my Metamucil-laced puddin' 3 times a day.

Piffle. My best friends are in their late 50's/early 60's and he's actively drawing and she teaches belly dance. It's about how you look at life. I still get carded to buy rated R movies and alcohol, so I'm nowhere near ready to be done living. MCR are the same.

As to Switchblade Saint and her crush on Steve Tyler -- I've had a David Bowie crush since I saw him in "Labyrinth" when I was 7, and he's over 60 by now (11 years older than my father and fully twice my age) and I still adore him. I'm surprised his pants in that movie didn't make me a lesbian though. Laughing

I hope they keep their word and keep it going as long as it needs be.
If they can keep rockin' 'till their like fifty then fair play but I hope they only keep it going as long as need be and don't just drag it out.

Yeah, this topic is making me kinda depressed, cuz we gotta realize someday they're all gonna d...d..die. Cry No they can't! I refuse to believe they're mortal...but they aren't that old. They all gotta have kids...and think about it...when they all do have babies and we have babies, maybe then they can hook up and we'll be related to a member of MCR...through marriage of course. Wow, now that's something to dream about.

*And my last name has constantly been getting shorter. It's at 5 letters now, used to be at like 10 a hundred years ago, and my bf has 4 letters in his, so then my kids gotta find someone with 3 letters and "Way" is all I've come up with In Love Ohhh yeah, luck.
