The first part of the Mexico City show was performed in that order.

Switchblade Saint, I couldn't agree with you more. I know that the songs frm Mexico were performed in that order, but they cut out any talking in between that might have been. Plus it was complete bullshit that they had to make that one speech that he gives in between Teenagers and Disenchanted its own seperate track. When I see a live DVD I wanna get the real feeling that I'm there. The Mexico part was way too overpolished and not raw enough. The Jersey show is a bit more of what I want. They did some really good songs in random order (Deathwish, wouldve been nice if Jetset was on there like they said it was gonna be, Stay) and Gerard is making these jokes and doing all this really cool random shit in between. That's why I'm so obsessive with getting the Sweet Revenge part of the Mexico show, because I have a strange feeling it would be more like the Jersey show, plus they play Jetset, GOY, and Deathwish. If anyone has read this entire incredibly long post, congratulations. You got to the end...

I don't think you realize that the DVDs they put these videos on have size constraints much like us normal people do when we want to burn our DVDs. They probably had to cut it down so they didn't have to carry it on between two discs. The more amount of discs, the more money the DVD would've been, and THEN you would be getting mad about that too.

I don't get why we have to complain about it, they didn't have to put a DVD out at all. Maybe they didn't want the ranting and talking on that DVD. It's just a few random speeches and Gerard being... Gerard. You can hear him do that on ANY live show. Not like they had that much of Gerard talking on the live portion of the LOTMS either...

To me, all the ranting is what makes a live show a live show. And plus, I wasn't happy at all with LOTMS either. They didn't film one whole show, and there were many bigger and better shows from their Revenge tour. I have a bootleg from their Duluth show on the Revenge tour. They play every single song off Sweet Revenge, even the Interlude. Plus they play some great songs off Bullets, and Shut Up and Play, the Disenchanted demo. It was also a bigger audience. In my opinion, that whole show should've been filmed and stuck onto LOTMS. Not to be pessimistic or anything, but I want live to be raw.

I highly doubt they're going to release the Revenge set from Mexico, as the whole point of filming that performance was that it was the LAST show of the Black Parade. They try to focus the Mexico City one on the Black Parade and it's death -- something that Revenge has no part in. Plus, as Lycia said, there are size constraints on DVDs, and I somehow doubt they could jam much more onto one DVD than is already on there, let alone a whole 'nother set.

Yes, but I'm thinking that they could've put the Revenge set as an easter egg on the DVD. If anybody at all knows how to find easter eggs or if you've found the Revenge set from Mexico, please tell me! Post here!

Everybody here is probably right that they're not gonna release it. It just pisses me off that they're being so theatrical at the expense of releasing a really good set.

But you don't understand. DVD's have time constraints. They can't put shit on there just because you want it there. There's a lot of things I wish MCR would do but didn't. Whatever, I'm not complaining. Move on, it's just a friggin' DVD. >.>

a) uh, they played every Revenge song on the REVENGE tour. Because it was the REVENGE tour, they played the REVENGE songs.
b) They haven't played a Bullets song in ages.
c) That was in 2005. Things change. They aren't gonna play every single song you want now.
d) The album itself is called: "The Black Parade Is Dead!", not: "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge Is Dead!". Naturally it's going to be more oriented towards TBP and not TCFSR.

The band can't do anything right at all, can they? Oh, and all the footage on the Revenge tour probably wasn't ready to be put on DVD or wasn't filmed. Those performances were probably already planned and one of the first things put onto the DVD. I already have the Duluth show, it's not OMG DIFFERENT from any other of the Revenge shows. They were pretty much the same setlist. I think they should have put the Warped Tour performances on there. Am I complaining? No, because the band was thoughtful enough to put a DVD out in the first place. A lot of bands don't put out DVDs, and if they didn't put out one, there would be mass complaints too. It's just a DVD ffs.

Yeah, but not to the point two where they couldn't fit another set. Doubling the amount of material woudn't seam possible, but adding seven or so extra songs doesn't seam like much to me.

And for the whole "Black Parade Is Dead, not Revenge Is Dead Theory" Gerard has said that while preforming the album TBP they feel like a different band. Hence the comment "we are the black parade" before Disapear. After FLW, when they came back I think to them they were MCR once again so it woudn't matter if the extra footage was relesased at some time.

Just the idea that such tape exists makes me believe they're waitin for the right time to use it, whether its to make some money to finace the next album, or release it on some special eddition DVD in 20years. I'm sure we'll see it some time.

I'm all for the idea its an Easter Egg. I have this amazing documentary about the Who and on the special features disk, after playing this extenisve trivia contest that takes forever, it tells you a random spot to go and press the left arrow five times to unlock extra concert footage with mutliple camera angle options. - Just an example of how hidden such Eggs can be and what they are ~ Rex

No Revenge stuff because it's for THE BLACK PARADE. Geez. It's not meant to be for Revenge material. If it was they would have named it something else. >.< They might NOT have recording the Revenge portion of that set because they probably had this already planned.

Hmm.
I don't think the guys will win with this in any way.
If the DVD wasn't so polished, there'd be complaints of ''OMG THE DVD ISNT POLISHED IT IZN PERF3KT!!1 THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US ENOUGH TO MAKE IT PERF3KT!!!!''
If they put more stuff on and the DVD's were subsequently more expensive, there's be complaints that the DVDs are too expensive.

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. When the CD/DVD came out I was temporarely living in the US and I bought the CD/DVD there. Since it said ALL REGIONS I assumed it worked at home aswell. However, when I tried to put the CD/DVD in my dvd player earlier today (here in Holland) the DVD didn't work because it is in fact a region 1 DVD.

Any advise on what to do? And are there any Europeans with the CD/DVD (does it work or not)?

I'm kind of annoyed with it because I really want to watch it...

I believe that you can unlock the region on most DVD players. Look up the model of DVD player that you have and 'unlock region' on Google and see what you get.

The DVD says "Region Code: All "
But I had to change it to another region to play it.
Is there any way that I can change the region setting back without having to download or hacking into the system?

D:

edit: My DVD setting is currently 1, can TBID! play on any other region setting?
What is the normal region setting for a windows media player?
And I know that LOTMS can play on region 1, but can that also play on any other region settings?
I just don't want to start changing the region codes because of the limited changes allowed on the programme.

If anybody can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
I would just love to be able to play other DVD's on my computer XDD
