Autumn Leaves.
The cool wind
blows us forward,
like autumn leaves
we stumble
through this life.
And like autumn leaves
we're cracked and brown
withering at the edges.
we fall.
But find each other on the ground
to lie
together in the dirt.
The sky is cold.
The earth is cold.
Snow falls
and covers us from sight.
And beneath its icy blanket
like autumn leaves that lie
we slowly rot away.
Until there's nothing left of us.

I'm glad you don't feel hurt by what I said. I was really worried about that, because I wasn't sure whether I would sound too harsh or too repetitive or too whatever. I just tried to give my opinion as straight as possible so that you could see my perspective, but no matter how I worded it, it seemed harsh, and I'm sorry for that.
I'm bored, summer is hot. I'm working more hours this summer, so hopefully that should rake in some cash.

As soon as I read your poem, I had a feeling it would be yours, just the style and the way it's written, it's what I like most about your poems.
I especially liked your poem out of all the ones entered in the contest because I was able to picture a starry sky and know a bit about what you were saying. With the other ones, I either couldn't picture it or there were too many words crowded together, although they were all still good.
Wow, the poeple on this website are so talented, it's amazing how many beautiful things can be produced...
