I'm Jo, known around the boards as Lovesick Melody. I’m a friendly and intelligent individual. I love talking to new people and discovering new things. I’m a music devotee, which is why I was drawn to ImNotOkay.net nearly three years ago.
I love my friends and will protect them at all costs. I will stand up for what I think is right, but I’m not totally close-minded either. I’m an avid reader, authors such as Harlen Coben, Dan Brown, Greg Iles and Stephenie Meyer have captivated my attention. Yes, I have read Twilight and I do love the series. However, I refuse to see the movie as I know the differences from my mind will ruin the books for me. I also think that in some ways, The Host was a better and more realistic book.
I’m a very random person, my thoughts often leading me to weird places that confuse other people. I channel this into my writing, which you will read about later. I don’t like following trends but alas, I cannot help what I love.
I’m not a complicated person, but I don’t think anyone will ever be able to figure me out. Including me.
------Musical Addict.
I'm Music is my passion. I do not say this because I love a certain band, or enjoy a certain song. I love the life music can give you. The feeling it can give you. The inspiration it can bring. I am an aspiring musician, hoping to bring the same influence to others that music gave me.
I’m mostly into Rock music, but that doesn’t mean I don’t venture out to other genres. My Chemical Romance is obviously my favourite band, ImNotOkay.net may be a hint to that. I like other rock bands, but I don’t think listing them all is the greatest idea for you to get to know me as I constantly listen to new things.
-----Animal Enthusiast.
Animals are another point that I am very interested in. Many people may find me weird for my love for all creatures, but I couldn’t be more fascinated in the world we live in. I’m mostly interested in mammals, but nearly every type of animal will perk up my interest somehow. The only area that I do not like is insects, but I’m sure you can understand that.
One of my top places to go is Africa, because of its beautiful wildlife and enchanting scenery. I couldn’t think of a better place to go to witness wild animals.
But that is just a dream, for now I will have to make do with my own pets.

I write to keep myself from going insane. I mostly write oneshots, and I find these better for me than long chapter stories. This is because I can casually jump from one idea to another without having to tie them together with a common storyline. Here is some of my work that you may be interested in. It isn’t only stories that I write, but poetry too. I usually keep this to myself, as I am very shy about the lyrics I write. This also ties in to my love for music and my dream to become a musician.
My stories gives you an insight into my mind and its quirky thoughts. I often find myself wandering "What if..." or "I wonder what would happen..." This spins itself out into a story, and I eagerly write it down to make sure I do not forget it.

Every person has opinions, whether they voice them or not. I am someone who regularly lurks and posts on the discussion board, letting my opinions be heard. I like hearing other views too, and am not afraid to admit if someone else has a valid point or if I think that they are right. I’m very open minded to new views, but do not like people forcing them onto me.
Again, I can tie this into my love for music and how I want my opinions to be heard. I love discussing controversial topics, but do not like talking to ignorant people about it. I usually have an opinion about everything, but I don’t always research the topic or gather information before I make a decision, so feel free to enlighten me if you think I have it wrong.

I’m mostly seen around the INO Chamber in the What Are You Thinking or Confessions thread, but also around the discussion board. However, I’m always open to PM’s from people who would just like to talk. I’m not on every day, so bear in mind that there may be a late response.
INO is a refuge for me, where I can post thoughts and ideas, and not be judged. I think that maybe this, and my friends, has kept me on INO.

i've seen you around the boards and i love your signature atm, so i thought i'd just comment on your profile for once.
Normally, i don't read profiles. i just skip down to the bottom and comment. But I read every thing you wrote, mostly because of the way you used the pictures, and i found that you sound like a very cool person. I love the profile, i love your poetry, and i think you sound like an awesome person.
