_______"The greatest thing
________you'll ever learn
________ is just to love
_____and be loved in return."

I'm not complicated.

I love to spend time with friends. Either in real life, or on INO. Ten minutes with them is all I need to brighten up my day. I will do anything to protect my friends from anyone or anything.
I have 2 beautiful Wifeys. Lucy and Hoppeh are the best Wifeys in the world. Lucy with her peer pressure, and Hoppeh with her upbeat attitude. I could not ask for anything more of them, they are simply the best. (Oh yea, and we still need to make the Seizure Room.)
I live in a small country in the corner of the world, land of the Kiwis. Better known as New Zealand. I love it here, the only downside is the lack of good bands that seem to come here. They usually go to Australia and then they piss off back home. Except for My Chem, who came here twice in one year. <3
I love it here though with the warm weather and great lifestyle. Plus all my friends make it even awesome-er.
I love to laugh. That is probably one of the most important things you must know about me. I can be mature, yes, but I love to be immature even more. I'm commonly known as Jo-the-random-humping-lady-who-humps-randomly.
My Chemical Romance are the bestest band in the whole world. End of story.
I live in the INO Chambers Confessions Thread and What Are You Thinking. Yeah, we pwn all.

Don't like the look of me?

I won't give out too many details, but when I was younger my family moved a lot. I've lived in more then 4 countries and have been to more than 10 for various reasons. I can speak Dutch, but English is my first language and I can speak it very fluently. As we were moving around a lot, I didn't stay in the same place and therefore never really made any friends.
I then had to find alternative means of entertaining myself. I found this world in my head that I didn't know existed. I expanded my sense of reality and fantasy. Sometimes the line between those two blur, but not dramatically.
I also found this comfort in books. Just being able to look into another persons world is so phenomenal. I love to read the fast-paced feeling of crime thrillers and horrors. I don't like the usual books that people seem to love. I do not like Twilight, Harry Potter or anything like that. I do not like to follow what everyone else is reading.
I have been known to read one novel a day. That is an adult book.
I can get lost in my head for hours, just because of all this additional information and ideas that I have learned from different sources.

If I didn't live in my head, where would I be?

Music is my life.

I'm not one of those people who just say that. A lot of people say it just because they like a lot of bands. That does not mean that music is yor life, it just means that you love those bands a lot.
But I'm being serious. Whenever I hear a song, I look around at the other people near me. I want to yell at them 'Can't you hear that? Can't you feel that?'
Just this overwhelming sense of emotion. Haha, yeah. Make the emo joke. I really gave up on defending myself a long time ago.
But why can't people feel what I feel? I mean these artists are pouring their hearts out into these songs, and some people don't seem to even acknowledge that. These people make these songs for a living, they put their dreams into these melodies.
It's so weird how something like a guitar solo can make me feel so much better. Almost as if it's comforting. That is exactly when I want to make it into the music industry. I don't want to big or famous, I just want enough money to support myself. But the most important thing to me is that I just have that life.
Just that energy of living in the music. The concerts would be magic. Thinking of being on that stage makes my heart flutter with hope. I don't want to be famous. I just want that lifestyle. And being able to say that 'This is my song' would be like a blessing. The live acts would be outrageous, mind blowing and completely energetic.

I want to make music so that I can make a difference.

______this is your song."

Another big part of my life is animals.
Most people don't know it, but the creatures that inhabit the earth with us continue to fascinate me as I look at them in awe. As civilized as we are, we are certainly not innocent. These animals have been untouched, they still live on basic instincts.
How can we claim to be superior then them? We seem to flaunt our power over them by using them for various reasons, like animal testing.
They also don't have all the stresses that humans have to deal with, they still have the primal goal of surviving. Their instincts are just so different to ours, their minds so set on one thing while we have complex lives we must lead.
Their structure is also so unique. Each animal is built for a different purpose, muscle structure, bone structure and certain characteristics.

Sometimes I can understand them better than humans.

Of course, the 5 guys. My Chemical Romance.

I've been a fan for a while, but I have not grown tired of the obsession.
I started liking them a couple of days after my birthday. Weird right? I can pinpoint the exact day that I started liking them. I bought LOTMS, listened to it, watched the DVD and the rest is history.
I thank My Chem for a lot of stuff. For making my life a better place to live in. For helping me feel like I'm not alone. For helping me respect everyone and myself. And for helping my find imnotokay.net.
Without My Chem, I would never have found this website, and never would have made the friends that I have today.
Their music is just perfect. The way the melodies weave in with Gerards voice. The way the whole mood changes as soon as a song comes on. The way no band can imitate their music. The way they have perfect control over a crowd. The way they have risen from the ashes and conquered.

Other artists? Oh... Well lets see...

Paramore.
They have written my favourite song of all time, Pressure. They are my inspiration for a lot of the music that I hope to follow. Their energy live is just so energetic, and it's great to see a band with so much enthusiasm. Their positive outlook on life was also quite apparent in many interviews, and this is something I quite admire too.

Serj Tankian.
He is a lyrical genius in my opinion. He writes songs that make you really question a lot of things that you would usually take as normal. His unique style and melodies really caught my attention right away. Although he was a singer for System Of A Down, I prefer his solo project.

Linkin Park.
Part rock, part rap. But I still love it. I love how Chesters vocals seem to fit exactly with Mikes. The songs they create are quite screamo, but they pretty much say what everyone wants to say but can't. They have great moments in songs where just a huge outburst of emotion takes over.

Panic! At The Disco.
They have wide imaginations, and this shows in their music. The lyrics are very imaginative and it reflects in how they play their music. The bouncy and uplifting spirit of the music has captured my interest, and hasn't let go since.

Taking Back Sunday.
Definately a good band. Their music is somewhat unqiue to what they do, and Adam's microphone-slinging skills are hard to miss. Their songs are very catchy, staying in my mind for days after hearing the music. Annoying at times, great at others.

Brooke Fraser.
Not a very well known artist, but a good one none the less. From New Zealand, and it shows. The music is soft yet creates an impact on the listener. Her soothing yet jazzy voice has peaked my interest in her.

The Used.
Who couldn't love the aggressive music? Berts voice sounding very raw on every track, which just adds to the overall effect of the song. Their imaginations run wild on each album, creating a different feel for every one.

Moulin Rouge. The Red Windmill.

What can I say? This movie is pure genius.
Just watching it is a blow to the sense. All the music, colours, lights and dancing. It's fascinating how they incorporate music numbers subtley into the movie without disrupting the flow of the story.
The intricate story is so deep and has many little stories that branch off. The colours that bombard you are extraordinary. The opening scene is hugely dramatic, with men in top hats and girls with fascinating dresses.
Underneath all of this a tradegy waiting to happen starts to unfold, and a deeper force starts to turn things darker, until finally it strikes.
I cannot say how much I admire this film and its humble crew. The sets are so detailed and choreography so fantastic that I cannot explain it, you must go watch it.

This is, easily, the best film of all time.

____"Tell our story Christian,
__________that way I'll-
____I'll always be with you. "

_____ Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story.

_____A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever.
