My name is Esther. I am a Christian, writer, reader, poet, violinist, gothic, fun-loving, absotively crazy girl. I believe in the sanctity of the family, homeschooling, unification of the entire Church (including Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox), seperation of Church and state in both directions, and Israel's right to their land.
I love music, especially all kinds of rock, though I also like some Christian hip-hop.

I definitely believe that hardcore, metal, and indie music belong in worship. We woship an amazingly intense and expressive God, why shouldn't our worship be just as intense and just as expressive?

For me, music is an emotional outlet, especially hardcore. It expresses thoughts and feelings that otherwise would never see the light of day because words, as much as I love them, are just not enough. They cannot contain the intensity of feeling that I'm trying to convey even if they came from the best writer in the world. But music does that. I can play a phrase on my violin and everyone who hears it will know exactly what I'm feeling without question, if I'm skilled enough. Nothing else communicates directly to the soul, bypassing the mind, to get the crux of the matter, the way music does.

I just recently started gettin into My Chemical Romance, but once I fall, I fall hard and now I can't here enough MCR. I can't wait til I can see them in concert.

I'm a personality test/quiz addict, both academic and enterainment. I've taken everything from Meyers-Briggs Typology to the Enneagram to "What Fairy Does Your Soul Look Like?"

I love the goth life. God saved my life through gothic subculture. Plus, black is known to be slimming. I also love spice cake, shirmp, and okra (though not together).


In about2 week I will be going to the International House of Prayer, KC for a 6 month internship. I need a breather to concentrate on God between getting my A.A. and continuing with school. To center myself on Him again. I can't wait!!!
